Dunn Brothers Coffee — Restaurant in Hugo

Update….refills are now free. Considering a Small coffee costs $2.90, it seems reasonable to expect. Nice surroundings, young staff members polite and friendly…older staff not so much, exception of The roaster… he’s a great guy! I would tip if they took the time to fraternize with the customers and maybe go around with a coffee jug seeing if anyone cares for a refill. Perhaps it’s the Covid scare that’s needlessly sterilized peoples behavior. Time to move on. ….😳

We used to go to Dunn every Sunday. Either Hugo or WBL. Never got charged for a coffeee refill. Now they charge$.60. The one in WBL had to close. Replaced by a Caribou and they're packing them in. Dunns obviously doing something wrong.... they could start with free refills on coffee.

Update: Hugo Dunn coffee shop very comfortable. Started coming up here recently but things have changed. They raised the price of a medium coffee to $2.90 ( my father would turn over in his grave!) and today they just announced NO REFILS) No.... they’re not kidding. Update…now getting refills!! But sould be a lot more friendly to the customers sitting in their shop… not at all like the small ma and pa coffee shops. 11/9/24 at about 8:30am. I've been buying coffee beans from this location for probably 2 years. They've always offered a free coffee, I've always asked to sub the coffee for a shot of espresso (I asked the same today). Usually the woman in the drive through says "sure can". This particular morning however was different. I could barely hear the person through the speaker outside so I had to ask her to repeat herself, no problem until I get to the window. I asked if something has changed where she couldn't couldn't sub the coffee for the espresso. She says they've never subbed the free coffee for espresso and I had not been buying coffee beans from this location for two years....with an ATTITUDE out of nowhere. Then she accuses me of saying that she doesn't know how to do her job. I'd love the opportunity to sit down with management or ownership of this location. Great espresso by...

Just moved into the area. Been here 3 times and nothing but fast and friendly service. Just tried the buffalo chicken wrap as well for lunch and it was so delish! Went in this morning and ordered a Reuben. It was gross and overcooked... sorry guys. Also I only had a certain amount of cash on me and I ordered fries with it which I didn't realize was more money (I should've known.. I know I know) so I had to ask the guy to please switch to chips instead. He said he didn't know if he could do it (yeah right). He re-rang me up and handed me the box. Got home and no chips... I wasn't going to drive all the way back for a small bag of chips. Sorry, I can't give you a five... I will still be coming back for your wonderful coffee and...
