I’m usual the first person in the line at 5:29am Mon-Sat, as the first person in the line for coffee I can speak from my personal experiences. With that being said the coffee is very inconsistent at best.. I order the exact same thing everyday and everyday it’s a different taste or something missing or overly added.. for example I order a White Chocolate Mocha and Carmel High-Rise both with skim and easy on the whip (I want to taste the Carmel or white chocolate, not the whipped cream). Today it was just a mocha with a hardly any flavor of white chocolate ; while the Carmel High-Rise was doused in Carmel syrup that it gave my wife a gut ache. My number 1 complaint is that everyone should be trained to the same standard, Why is there chocolate covered coffee beans? What are the chocolate covered coffee beans used for?… well if your lucky you’ll get a coffee bean treat on your appropriate drink. Today there was no bean , yesterday was no bean, Wednesday there was a bean! I had to call back once last week as the White Chocolate Mocha was made without any White Chocolate so it was just a Mocha. 8 out of 10 times I’ll just drink it regardless and make no complaints other than to my wife and the fact that I choose to tip every time as I appreciate the person making my coffee, I just wish there was consistency especially when the drinks are never the same.. Unclear on who runs this caribou but it’s been my experience that it’s a 1-2 (sometimes2-4) person show @ 5:30 usually there’s someone putting stuff away while the other person is making the drinks. Everyone is unique and different and I can appreciate that, I can drive from Lino Lakes south to the 96 and 35E Caribou and you’ll get exactly what you ordered every time. It just sucks that I can’t get that here. This has been my personal experience, $13.95 everyday plus tip and you never get...
Read moreWill not be returning to this location. I used the mobile app twice this week to order Iced Americanos and specified light ice each time. The first time I received incredibly heavy ice, and after notifying staff of the error he used a dirty spoon from behind the counter to remove a large chunk of ice before handing it back to me. There was still a ton of ice in the drink and the staff didn't care to ask if it was now acceptable, just went on to the next customer. The second time I notified them of the error, the same staff member removed extra ice by pouring the drink into another cup, then supplemented the extra room by adding more water. He contaminated my first drink and watered down the next. Highly disappointing experiences.
1 year update: returned (against my will) with company - they ordered 2 drinks and we waited 15 minutes in the drive thru for them. Still terrible service. What is wrong with...
Read moreEvery time I order the iced crafted press, I get ice with a little crafted press sprinkled on top. This time I asked for less ice. Still got way too much ice so I asked them to top it off before drinking it and they said they'd have to make me a new one because I grabbed it from them. I felt bad so I scooped the ice out myself and as I'm leaving I was so annoyed that I drove back and asked for a new one. I got this one with less ice like I wanted but filled up 3/4 of the way. If the amount of actual drink is a set amount (as in so many ounces), please let me know and I'll edit this to 3 stars instead of 1. When I returned, they told me I had to throw the first one in the garbage myself because I I had touched it. Pretty silly. Might want to teach common sense. Not off to a great start Hugo Bou.
Update: stopped by last sun am and ordered the same through the drive through and they made it...
