Campanelle – Manicotti Italiano Skillet: A Cheesy Slice of Heaven Listen… if you haven’t been to Campanelle yet, you’re missing out on something magical. I ordered the Manicotti Italiano skillet and I’m still thinking about it days later. This thing came out sizzling hot in a cast iron dish like it just left an Italian grandma’s oven—with bubbly, golden cheese cascading over the edges like a mozzarella waterfall. Topped with shaved parmesan and served with crusty wedges of toasted bread, it looked like a food magazine cover… and tasted even better. The pasta was perfectly cooked and stuffed with rich, creamy cheese. The marinara? Chef’s kiss—robust, flavorful, and clearly made with love (and maybe a splash of red wine). The whole thing felt indulgent but in the best way possible. And dipping the bread into that molten, cheesy goodness? Pure joy. But let’s not forget the vibe—Campanelle nails the atmosphere. It’s warm, lively, and just upscale enough to feel like a treat without being stuffy. The staff was friendly, the drinks were flowing, and the energy was contagious. Bottom line: I came for pasta, but I stayed for the whole experience. 10/10 will be back—and next time, I’m bringing reinforcements so I can try even more of the menu.

Not good. I wouldn’t return. Ordered skillets and a pizza. Pizza was mostly cheese and grease. While it is a flatbread pizza, so I expected it to be thin, there were a slim amount of toppings. As I said: cheese and grease. The sides were burnt but the pizza itself was lukewarm despite the server bringing it right away. The skillets were okay but they weren’t great at all. Skillets came out right away with the top crusted, which is great. But only the bottom of the skillet was actually warm, and the sides were room temperature. The cheese wasn’t fully melted, only about half of the way. On the plus, there’s a large amount of skillets to choose from and the servers were nice. Service was very quick, but I feel like if they would’ve taken just a little more time, the food would’ve been exceptionally better. 2 stars for the service. Masks didn’t seem to be too enforced here at all though. They had a sign, but again, not really enforced. I’d stay away if that’s a concern! I wouldn’t say this was “Italian Food” if you’re looking for a place like that. It has a bar atmosphere with pull tabs and a majority of the restaurant being the bar itself. Even if you’re into a place like this, I still wouldn’t recommend.

I recently moved to Centerville and the other day my 10-year-old granddaughter and I decided to find a new place to eat. We found this place by accident as we were driving by. We decided to give it a whirl and we are so happy that we did. My granddaughter ordered the adult size Mac and cheese. She said it's the best one she's ever eaten. And I agree. I ordered the chicken parmesan which is pictured here. I found out that the noodles and cheese sauce that are used at this restaurant are handmade. It took a little longer than usual for them to make our lunch, however, with that said, it was worth every single minute of wait time. They serve it in a skillet and the bread that was served with it, was used to sop up the juice from the parmesan sauce. I have never eaten anything like this in my entire life! It is a little bit on the spender side, but the portions are large, and the quality is A++. Also, the menu has so much variety. If you can't find one thing on there to eat, there's something wrong with you.😁 They even had a Chicago hot dog! Taking the whole family there around July 22nd for celebration of my son's birthday.

This was our first trip in and I so wanted to really enjoy it, but ended up disappointed. We went later in the day (2 hours before closing) - and we were clear that the kitchen closes an hour before the restaurant/bar, but I would not recommend going in for the last 2 hours before close. We ordered the Monday special - app, 2 pasta skillets and cannolis for $33. The waitperson forgot to have the app come out first so it arrived about 1-2 minutes before our entrees with her apologies. We were about 2 bites into our entrees when she was heading back to get leftover boxes for the (one and only) other table and asked if we were going to want boxes. Umm, not yet? We were offered them a few more times while we were eating. The homemade noodles were good, but the sauces lacked substance and weren't to our liking - others may feel differently, that is the beauty of food. While we were eating, section by section the chairs were lifted and turned onto set tables, floors swept and mopped, including the bar area by our feet. This was about an hour before close. My husband eats slowly and ended up just leaving the rest of his dish - he didn't care for it that much anyway - and we took our dessert to go. So much for our date night out.

I believe the owner was the bartender and spent his time visiting with friends at the bar (one couple) - who he even asked to move so the waitperson could clean the floor where they were sitting.

I understand small business, lower volume Monday nights and needing to be cost effective but not providing a relaxing, quality dinner out for your customer will sink the business more quickly.

I'm afraid we won't...

This place is bomb, we order carry out a couple time a month...unfortunately I always forget to take a picture of my food before devouring it, so just use your imagination.

Fresh ingredients, check! You can really taste the quality, the noodles chef kiss Large portions, double check! The regular is more than enough food but order the large if you want leftovers (noodles reheat so well!) or want to hate yourself for finishing it all at once Friendly staff, check! They always greet me with a smile and are down to chit chat if you have the time Diverse menu, YES! Check check check! I was a huge fan of the buffalo bacon shrimp skillet, but I just recently (today) had their Italian Chili Cheese dog and WHOA. Game changer. Dog was grilled (not steamed!) and while I never had Italian chili before, I am a fan! And get their sea salt fries. YUM. You're welcome. Can cater to dietary needs, check! A decent chunk of their menu can be made gluten free (I personally had the chili dogs with no bun, and the meal did not suffer at all) and technically their Mariana and noodles (on the kids menu, but they could make it larger for adults) is dairy-free! Plenty of vegetarian options, tho I'm not sure if there's vegan options since the noodles probably need egg. But I would call and make sure (I just forgot to since I'm not vegan, sorry)

Regardless, we are looking forward to coming to Campanelle for carry out in the future as well as eating inside once we are able to. And you better believe the next time we have a larger family event, we are getting catering. SO GOOD....

Went to campanelle on Wednesday night and had a mix of experiences. It was busy when we arrived but didn't have to wait long for a table. Our waitress was awesome and did her best checking in regularly. We ordered an app and food at the same time, and it took about 45 min for the app to come out and over an hour for the main course to show. The waitress apologized a bunch throughout, and they were busy so it was understandable. But what wasn't understandable was the price paid for the portions. I got the Italian beef sandwich, paid extra for the aujuice, and extra for seasoned tots. Sandwich was Luke warm but good flavor, what bugged me was I litterally recieved 9 tator tots in a condiment style cup.. .99 cents extra for seasoned tots instead of regular that it comes with and you get 9 tots.. $16 for an Arby's size beef sandwich and 9 tots left me disappointed. Perfectly fine paying the price if the value is there but it wasn't. The cheesy bread app was good but 10.99 for a small hogie roll sliced in 1/2 with cheese and marinara again left me disappointed. Last was my girlfriends chicken parm noodle bake. Again flavor was good but 15.99 for what was slightly better than average mac and cheese left a little more to be desired. Could very much be worth the money to me and would love to return but sadly I'm not sure I will in the near future. Not a bad place at all, I liked it, just not worth it right now...
