The food was great. Upon leaving, I noticed the waitress charged me 1.99 instead of 1.50/free refills for an iced tea, and asked her to fix it. After speaking with another waitress and the manager in Spanish, discussing whether to change the price, the manager came to tell me that I was charged 1.99 because of a refill. First, I hadn't had a refill. Second, the menu clearly said free refills, and the other drinks except for sodas (1.99) said no refills. Third, it wasn't that serious, I was genuinely curious as to the mistake. This woman turned and walked away from me in the middle of my speaking, and said "you just don't want to understand, that's the reason, that's the price." She refused to speak any further until, rather than giving my card to her, I took out the appropriate amount in cash, and stated that it was all I was paying. She told me to keep my money, and said "yeah I know you like it that way anyway, it's free", as if because I was of color, I must enjoy free food. I went here based on the good reviews I saw. First time there. We went during breakfast and from the moment we walked in , maybe it was only this day but it smelled really bad like meat from the menudo when you’re prepping it and the temperature in there wasn’t really cool so that was already something we noticed coming in. Waiting for our food I noticed this place needed major updating / cleaning. I went to the restroom and noticed the wallpaper or whatever it is is peeling off the wall was being held on together by thumbtacks.Walls seemed cluttered with random things hung on the wall. I did however like my food but my hubby did not like his. Not what I expected from a chilaquiles plate but flavor was good. Hubby ordered potato and egg taco and he said the potatoes tasted weird. After we were done eating he confirmed to me we would not be coming back.Did not enjoy the experience as far as smell, cleanliness, temperature, and taste of his food. I don’t know who is rating this 5 stars but they should be shot. I’m being generous with even giving it two, there are gas station taco places with better dish integrity then I got here.

Home made tortillas - thin sloppy and too much flour on the base

Chorizo - 90% egg 10% sausage

Barbacoa - actually pretty decent

Salsa - just trash might as well have given me tomato water with onions and cilantro

Service - though not busy it still felt like an inconvenience and our existence here was, an I guess I gotta do my job now after 10 mins.

There are hundreds of other places within 3 miles of this place that put it to shame and have lower ratings. Honestly I regret even looking at these reviews, cause it seems to be written by the same people who call Taco Bell...
