Wall Street Grill — Restaurant in Humboldt

Le sigh... I wanted to like this place, I really did... but, man oh man. I haven't been here in a long while, and I was wondering why it wasn't packed like it usually is. One, it's a Tuesday, and two, it has gone waaaaaay downhill. We went as a small group of 4, and there was no wait, thankfully, but we were sat at a scrunched up table with barely enough room for 2, let alone 4. The table itself was streaked with... something gross... The waitress seemed angry at us for even existing, spilled our drinks any chance she got, and threw our food on the table in a haphazard manner. The food took about thirty minutes, which is perfectly fine, considering we were having a good conversation haha. BUT, the price greatly outweighs the quality of food. We ordered various items, and None of them were very good. The chicken was disgusting and grissly with a nice burnt tire aftertaste; the burger was rubbery in spots with an outlandish amount of beady fat throughout; the roast beef was bland to a scary extent, had a waterlogged texture, and was excruciatingly greasy; the club was actually okay in comparison to the rest, but I digress. We had flat Dr. Pepper, soapy tasting Sprite, all our bread was sopping with sog, AND there were pieces of Jalapeno in one of our cups. There were many of our fries that were burnt and blackened in parts, and while the seasoning on the fries was good in small amounts, it had an uneven coating. The fries, in this instance, were overwhelmingly jarring for more than half of our group (3 out of 4 say "NO" to the overly fried potato sticks). I might go back in a year or two, but something has GOT to change in this eating establishment before I even make an attempt... Ugh....

not veteran friendly!!!!! the owner tried to throw us out before we had a chance to place an order. we were there for a veterans meeting, and litterly had just sat down when the owner said since we were not eating we had to leave. we tried to tell him no one had given us a menu, we had just sat down and had not even seen a waitress walk by yet. he was very rude and would not allow us to talk, just kept yelling that we had to leave. he even threatened to call the police which we welcomed because of the way he was treating us. he said one of our guest was disrespectful to him and could not speak to him that way. no one in our party was disrespectful until he started yelling at us and threatened to call the police. at that point i reminded him this is America and freedom of speech is a constitutional right that we and many before us fought and died for and we would defend this right till we die as our oath states. once his son informed him that his yelling was being heard inside the restaurant ( we were on the outdoor patio), he calmed down and said if they don't order they have to leave. we all ordered and ate, had our meeting and the waitress we had was amazing. the food was so so way over priced in my opinion. i know i will never eat there again and I don't recommend this restaurant to any veterans because the owner apparently does not like veterans. most of the rest of the staff that we had any interactions with were friendly with the exception of the owner and his son neither of whom we saw any more after the incident. all of this was video taped by 2 members...

After Cancer treatment and not being able to eat out in Humboldt since my stem cell transplant, we were dancing in Humboldt so we decided to eat at Wallstreet Grill. In the past we had never had a RUDE WAITRESS. We have brought groups of 8 people with us and loved the atmosphere and the food. 04/15 we went 4 of us, and our server got our drink order and 1 member gave his order, when she stopped him rudely and said she had to do something first in a short attitude. When she came back she brought our drinks and had one wrong, she shoved me the glass of tea and got smart with the person who just said he ordered water with lemon. She took our orders and after 30 minutes, (we had our salads already) a member asked how much longer until our food and she replied we are busy I am sure it won't be long. Again short... When she came to give our tickets we told her to divide them 1 and 1 and 2 on a ticket..She walked away from us and turned and said she wouldn't know unless we told her again with a smart attitude... we never recieved a refill during our meal never saw her again, someone else brought our food. When asked to speak to a manager, we was told that she would be out, but never came, instead I was asked to leave my name and number.. I still haven't had a call back.. this waitress Brooke told us she had been there 12 years and had never had a complaint... and she didn't care if we complained about her... we have ate there every Saturday night in 2022 and had never had such poor service from a...
