The staff at Downtown Joe wad incredibly friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. I got to try two of their energy refreshers, which were delicious and gave me the boost I needed to start my day. The açaí bowl was fresh and refreshing, and the avocado toast was perfectly seasoned and topped with a variety of toppings.

My friend tried their breakfast sandwich, which was hearty and filling and said that the iced chai tea latte was one of the best she ever had. It was perfectly balanced and not too sweet, with just the right amount of spice.

But the standout drink for me was definitely the Honey Bee Cold Brew. The honey simple syrup in the cold brew and the drizzle on top made for a unique and delicious flavor. The raw golden honey from ACE LLC added a beautiful natural sweetness to the drink, and the cold brew itself was smooth and bold.

What's more, I was thrilled to see that Downtown Joe offers a reusable glass tumbler that customers can purchase and bring back for refills. As someone who is always looking for ways to reduce my environmental impact, I really appreciated this option.

I was really looking forward to a quick, healthy breakfast of avacado toast and acai bowl with fresh fruit and granola. It was helpful to me as a new customer that there was a new employee taking my order. The order entry system is very thorough (1 suggestion later), so I was asked all the questions that were options in the system. This did take a moment, but it was well worth the time to know what choices are available. One suggestion would be to not only ask about pepper flakes on the avacado toast, which is important to some people, but also ask about the bacon, which was important to me as a vegetarian. The second serving of avacado toast, now without bacon, was really good and a good deal at less than $3. The sad part about the beautiful acai bowl was that it was frozen solid. I had a limited amount of time to eat breakfast and the acai berry remained too hard for the plastic spoon until my time ran out. The mango pieces were frozen, but small, thus available to scoop up. The rest of the fruit was fresh and delicious. Please consider blending the frozen acai berries before serving! There was a steady stream of customers but not a long line nor a long wait.
