Comfort Inn Huntingdon — Hotel in Huntingdon

Yeah, there are passing trains nearby ...but nearby there are also a few roads, some buildings, lots of cars, and pesky people with untrained children absolutely driving the rest of us insane..but it's life?You want to buy things in stores; well, trains move those things you buy to the warehouses the trucks bring them from....the gas you put in your tank, that comes via trains too...wood for your kitchen/bath re-model project, yup, trains bring that too...bottom line - the Hotel has zero control over the trains. All the Karen's whining about the noise - get over it....your whining is 100 times more annoying than the train horn.

The hotel is in a great spot for travelers, Raystown Lake is a very short drive away, plenty of convenient stores and restaurants within earshot....Donna's Restaurant, Original Italian Pizza, Best Way Pizza, Woodys BBQ, Hoss's Steak and Seafood House, Pizza Hut, Meadows Ice Cream....even a Dairy Queen just outside of town...plus other well known chains all around. The hotel staff is super friendly, the rooms are clean, beds are comfy, sheets are clean, as are the towels, the shower water is hot and the pool is great. We've stayed here many times now and return to this Comfort Inn for these reasons.

If you don't want the train to be as annoying as your complaining, just request a room on the parking lot side (odd numbered rooms) when you make your reservation. I prefer the river/town view, (even numbered rooms) even if means hearing a train passes by every 30 minutes or so.

Ya'll Karens would never make it in a BIG city, like where I'm from - trains would be the least of your noise concerns.

Dear Management: My wife and I stayed at the Comfort Inn (PA344) Huntingdon, PA in room 310 expecting a quiet night on Sunday, July 16th.  Unfortunately we were suddenly awakened at 12:33am to a loud sound like a pump, generator/pounding that occurred for approx. 4mins. then dissipated.  Initially we thought it maybe the air conditioner vent by the bed but that was not the issue.  The sound came from behind the headboard of the double bed by the window in the room. The sound then occurred again at 7:53am and ended 7:57am. again behind the headboard of the bed. We contacted the front desk immediately and Cole stated he would send someone to the room asap.  By 8:30am no one came and we went to breakfast in the lobby. We again notified the staff at the front desk of the event and expressed that our room should be addressed as we were dissafied regarding accountability of this matter.  No one offered any assistance.  We would feel sad if other customers used this specific room.

We had accumulated our points to enjoy this special night as a couple and so disappointed in the experience and lack of customer service and good will.  Attached are photos. of room location. Due to the Employee Room is behind the actual wall of the bedroom wall in the room 310 anticipated this should be addressed.   We previously had invested many nights at Comfort Inn due customer service and cleaniness.   I will await for your immediate response and resolution to...

Thank you Huntington Staff for providing the past 6 months of traveling away from home comfortable and welcoming! I actually looked forward for the first time in my entire career as a helicopter pilot excited to arrive and spend the nights there at the Comfort. Each and everyone of you go the extra mile and from what I have observed truly do it genuinely from the heart. I feel like I can call all who I have met and interacted with a friend!

Management has made the word exception to the rule a standard when dealing with my requests and favors have been endless, how can we thank you enough?

We have unfortunately been relocated down the highway to Duncansville but on a positive note the proof of same ownership became very clear the first night we stayed! We have been blessed to get so lucky to have what seems like a carbon copy hotel !

These two hotels make me able to say with out Any doubt the Owners Care and really enjoy their investment and are much more than just investors!

It is very clear the Pride you take in your Hotel and you should be proud.
