AOSA Coffee — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

I was trying to hold off on making this distasteful review, but since I haven't heard from you guys regarding my issue, I am forced to post this on Google and Yelp.

I want to make myself clear that the employees are at the cafe were very friendly, but that's pretty much the only good thing about this place. I ordered a Cinnamon Honey flavored latte, a Classic Avocado toast, and a Snickerdoodle cookie. I only received 2 our of the 3 items that I ordered. They forgot to give me the Snickerdoodle cookie that I ordered. I do have to admit that my mind wasn't in the right place because I am currently coping with the loss of my father. I remember the day that I walked in your shop. I decided to stop by this cafe before heading on a little adventure to clear my head. It was a busy day that Sunday morning, and the two workers were swamped. I was distracted with my thoughts while I patiently waited for my order. I was quick to head out to LA county to continue with my day and never realized until a few days later that I never received my cookie that I ordered. Unfortunately, I was not really impressed with the coffee or the Avocado toast in spite of the reviews. First, I want to believe that the coffee was just a bad flavor, because I only tasted more cinnamon than honey. I probably would have enjoyed a different type of flavored latte. Secondly, the Avocado toast was definitely missing a distinct flavor to boost the ingredients. The tomatoes tasted very disgusting as if they were not fresh. I suggest maybe adding seasalt or some flavored olive oil to improve the avocado toast. The lack of either made it a chore to finish the toast. And last, I can't say anything about the cookie since I never received it. I tried reaching out to you guys via email, but you never responded. I will make my attempts to call tomorrow to get this issue sorted out. Your cafe was expensive enough, and I only request that you give me my cookie that I never received or refund me for...

I've come here multiple times and given them several chances but the workers here don't seem like they like even working here. Workers don't greet you when you enter the store and there have been times where I just stand there near the register, waiting for someone to help me, which often takes a long time. Their drinks taste watered down and their avocado toast was very expensive for something so small and just had a bunch of grass on it. Ordered an acai bowl one time and went to go sit down. I will say that they have great seating and a nice atmosphere inside and outside; although, their free wifi isn't great and I wasn't able to get much work done. I waited for 20 minutes for my acai bowl and after getting tired, went up to the front to ask for an update and the guy who helped me told me that they were having problems with online orders even though I had ordered in person and he had been the one to help me. It had not been busy and people who ordered after me got their drinks and meals before me. I told him that and he didn't even remember me and had to leave to check in the back and came back and apologized me and got my acai bowl out later. I waited 30 minutes for a mediocre acai bowl that was $10 for something that barely even had enough food in it. There was not enough acai in it and on top of that, poor customer service. That was the last time that I will ever go...

Fantastic atmosphere, good menu selection, and friendly staff. This coffee shop is very highly recommended. Definitely on the top of my list.

Aosa Coffee is settled in a little shopping center in Huntington Harbor and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Equipped with wifi and board games, this shop is your go-to spot if you're working on a computer, meeting with a colleague or date, or just settling in for a good book. The atmosphere and table availability is ideal for any situation.

The menu has coffee, tea, cold brew, acai bowls, and a variety of pastries. The baristas are top notch and they're supplemented by friendly and helpful staff. I'd venture to say they're almost too chatty! (good or bad, take that as you will).
