This place is top quality.

The bagels are excellent. I had an Everything Bagel. Ever notice how most bagels are seasoned on one side? Not at Bo’s. Here my bagel was seasoned to perfection on both sides. I actually felt like I got to enjoy a whole bagel rather than a 1 sided bagel. Every perfectly toasted bite had the flavor and consistency of the bagel I always wanted. Not to mention, the cream cheese was really good.

Also, this place has real good coffee! Typically at a place like this you would get either the solid coffee OR bagels. At Bo’s you get both. The coffee was super hot/fresh. It tasted like they made a pot of it just for me. Great full bodied flavor.

Super friendly staff too! Great customer service which is real important.

Lastly, great location. If you are on your way to the beach or 55 freeway from HB, this is your spot.

Service here seems to suck 90% of the time.

I come here early in the morning with my baby and the team i interact make me feel like a bother or nuisance for just ordering my food.

Today I had to ask again for the drink I ordered after waiting over twenty minutes and there was no apology or let me get right on that response. Instead they respond with a subtle eye roll. Like I’m sorry I have to wait and ask for you to make the drink I ordered twenty minutes ago. I’m waiting around for this drink after finishing my meal and my 12 month son just wants to point at the crochet animals they sell. I hold it so he can just lightly touch it and point at it and they ask me if I’m going to buy it like I’m letting my son chew on it or something.

I wish I could get a refund of the tips I give because it’s a terrible feeling to tip money to a team that seems like they actively want to make your experience poor.

These are some of the best bagels we've had since moving here from NYC! They always taste fresh and Bo's has a great selection of food and drink options.

I would give 5 stars, but the only down falls are that it is extremely difficult to make-your-own bagel sandwich. Always comes with so much confusion and 500 questions. Since we don't eat meat, most of their existing sandwich combinations don't work for us. This has always been a normal request in our NYC bagel shops, so I wasn't expecting the confusion. The only other downfall is that the wait can be a little long. I recommend ordering ahead and picking up to avoid any issues ordering or wait times.
