Eat At Joe's — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

After a Long Hot day at the Swap Meet, a friend and I decided to stop in for a cold one! While we were not too hungry, we decided to order a "little" lunch. NOTHING, believe me nothing is small or little about their entrees or their wonderful selection. I ordered the Baha Fish Tacos and my friend the Fish and Chips. The service was fast and food delicious! Leftovers to bring home were a MUST so prepare to ask for a Doggie-Bag. Ok, enough about the food. The service was impeccable! Our food server, Stacy, was bright eyed, friendly and more than happy to please. Ally, one of the owners was equally customer service oriented. I have been in the Food and Beverage/Hospitality field for more than 30 years and believe me, it's been quite a while when I could post a commendation such as this. Oh, did I forget mention the atmosphere? While not fancy, fun and welcoming for all ages! Large screen TV's throughout sporting the latest in weekend events including Horse Racing!! A Full Bar with I believe 8/Beers on Tap plus assorted bottled varieties. Finally, the BEST Music... a Little Bit Country and a Little bit Rock-n-Roll and not too loud so you can enjoy conversation. Do yourself a favor, treat your family to "Eat at Joe's" , you too will walk out with your Belly's FULL a Smile on your face and thanking me soon after! ...

We stopped in here for lunch, expecting a little strip mall diner, due to the name. But we were surprised to find a little sports bar, with a hundred TVs, all tuned to different stations! There was soccer, baseball, football, sports talk, etc. There weren't many people, as it was past the lunch hour. We were greeted by the cutest & sweetest waitress immediately upon entering (I wish I could remember her name). She brought our menus & got our drink orders. The menu was pretty extensive & we had trouble deciding what to order!! My husband ordered the French dip sandwich w/fries & my eyes found the Italian club--which included a list of ingredients that made my stomach growl! I pictured a good, old-fashioned NY hot Italian sub, dripping sauce down my arms, falling apart, as I tried to keep it together while holding it with both hands and failing terribly! I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!! It was everything I'd hoped it would be! With the first bite, it started to slip around and ooze warm mayo and Italian meat juices out of each side. It was absolutely delicious!! Or waitress was very attentive, but not hovering. She was fun & engaging. I would go back just for her, even if the food wasn't amazing! 02-25-23 Came in today for a meeting of our motorcycle club... because of the rain 🌧️ we couldn't ride. Haven't been here for awhile. 5 in our group today. We ordered an appetizer while we waited for the stragglers. It was pretty quiet (no music playing yet) easy to talk and have a discussion as we planned our next ride. We ordered our meals, then they turned on the music... that's ok no problem. After awhile it changed, got very loud, heavy bass, we couldn't hear each other talk without yelling. I mentioned it to the staff, just that it was too loud, turn it down a little, they turned it off. OK, fine. A few minutes later they turned it back on at the same loud volume...so much for keeping your customers happy...I mean people are there for talking, sharing a meal, having a discussion and visiting,,,not for the concert volume music...a little background soundtrack is all you need. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

We love this place, it's our unofficial biker club meeting place. Always a good time. 4 stars 'cause nobody's perfect. At our last meeting for lunch. The waitress asked how is everything? I mentioned that the fries came out cold. She went and got a GIANT basket of HOT! fries (on the house). ... maybe they should get 5 stars!! TRY THE "TRIPLE...
