Dear Hobby Lobby Customer Service, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an extremely upsetting and humiliating experience I had at one of your stores. During my recent visit, I was shopping with my young child in a stroller. As is common for many parents, I placed several items I intended to purchase, including a $2 pen, in the bottom of the stroller since I was unable to manage both a stroller and a shopping cart. After I made my way to the checkout and paid for all my items, I was stopped near the store exit by an employee who accused me of attempting to steal the $2 pen. She confronted me in front of other customers, questioning whether I had paid for the pen, and even went as far as to call security on me. This was not only deeply offensive, but completely unjustified, as I had already paid for everything I selected. This experience was extremely embarrassing and hurtful. I felt unfairly targeted and harassed for simply being a mother shopping with her child. I believe your store staff should be better trained in how to approach customers with respect and common sense — especially when it comes to situations involving parents with children. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable. I hope this message prompts your management team to review the behavior of your staff and take steps to prevent this kind of degrading experience from happening to other customers in the future. Please be assured that after this incident, I will no longer be shopping at Hobby Lobby.

I seriously love this Hobby Lobby! As a local realtor here in Huntington Beach, I'm always putting together fun events for my clients and community, and this time I was shopping for my Easter Egg Yard Event. Not only did I find everything I needed; colorful eggs, cute signs, baskets, and all the little details… The store is super clean and organized, and it’s so easy to get inspired just walking through the aisles. They have such a huge selection of arts and crafts supplies, plus amazing seasonal décor and some really stylish home items too (I always end up grabbing a few extras for my staging projects!). My kid decided to be silly and race down the alley and got in trouble 😳🤣 The staff was really friendly and helpful. Whether you’re crafting, decorating, or just love a good DIY project, Hobby Lobby on Edinger Ave in Huntington Beach is definitely worth checking out. I’ll absolutely be back, probably sooner than I should! 😄

This place is like 5x the size of Michael's. They carry a lot of Christmas stuff and it's not even Halloween yet! Love their giant fake flowers. Would be 5 stars if they didn't try to withhold birth control from their employees. Also cuz they're closed on Sundays for their "employees to rest, be with their families and prayer". So screw you! You Jews and Seventh Day Adventist! We don't respect your Saturday worshiping. Another thing. I think their organization is a bit sporadic. I love Nativity set and they have several beautiful ones down one isle. Then I find more scattered around the store! Don't know if this is indicative of other items. They also have beautiful wall pieces too. I'm definitely coming back to buy one. These items are also scatter about located in several different isles.

This is my first time going to any Hobby Lobby! I usually go to Michael's or Joanne's fabrics for my supplies, but I must say, this place is huge! The Huntington Beach location is laid out spaciously, and they have a great selection of all types of DIY & arts & crafts offerings! I would have given it 5 stars except there are No signs at the ends of the aisles! And this place is so gigantic that I had to walk all around the store to find what I was looking for! Appliques & embroidery supplies, which I would have thought all the sewing things would have been close together, but they were at different ends of the store. I did not see any employees to ask where things were, or a map like sign showing what aisles had what items. Normally I love to peruse a store like this, so I don't mind checking everything out,but today I was on my lunch hour and had minimal time to find what I was looking for! Just a suggestion for management. Their prices seemed more reasonable that Michael's as well, and I even checked on Amazon first, and Hobby Lobby's prices were better than Amazon! That's rare! I will definitely go back for my hobbies, but only when I have more time to find what I'm looking for. Also it's nice they have coupons on line that you can pull up at the cash register! I saved 40% on 1of my purchases, and for the first time, they actually took 40% off the most expensive item! Most stores take the coupon off the least expensive...

We stopped at store #512 on Edinger on 3/16 for yarn to finish my project. I went into the store with my mother and my boyfriend. We found the yarn and went to the the cashier. She charged two different prices for each skein of yarn, which were both the same brand and color. Bernat brand blanket yarn. My mother questioned why she was charging two different prices and Helen L, who was the cashier, explained that there was a price increase on that yarn. She asked us if we wanted to go and check if there were others still at the lower price and we said yes. I stayed back at the register with my boyfriend and my mom went and looked. Helen then proceeded to call the manager over and tell him the situation. In doing this she stated my mothers words of calling the price being two different things as “weird” as my mom had said earlier. She said this to the manager rudely and judgmentally as if she had appropriately tried to explain the situation and did this in front of myself and my boyfriend in earshot. My complaint is not about the price increase, although that is highway robbery in which I would never pay if I had another option. My complaint is about her blatant disregard for us. Please review how you talk about people in front of customers, or just refrain from...
