Fritzankotters Deli — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

I worked here while i was going to school a few years ago and I haven't gone back to visit for awhile already.

A couple years ago, they had another store inside Westminster Mall, unfortunately, the business in there did not go well and the owner closed it down.

The main deli is still (i hope) in huntington beach (springdale and warner).

Here are a few suggestions/info:

1. if you love french roll, come before 12pm. The french rolls are picked up fresh and warm from the bakery every morning. They throw left over french rolls away at the end of the day.
2. If you like tons of lettuce in your sandwhich, just ask for it. They throw it in for you.
3. Avocado or Guacamole and Cheese are extra.
4. Sometimes they have Creamy Potato Salad. Those one are good.
5. This is the good one, if you like pickle, ask for it. Ask for two slices. They don't charge extra. It tastes good!!!
6. They also have hot pepper. hot and spicy
7. Ask for toasted bread if you want your bread to be toasted
8. Avoid weekend at lunch, it's crowded. If you do you to there, go before 12pm, around 11 - 12pm.

What I tried while i was working there:

1. Pamela Anderson (French Roll, Turkey, Let, Tot, Mustard, Mayo)
2. Rye + Pastrami + Sauerkraut + Swiss Cheese + mustard (HOT = heated)
3. Noah Ark (Peanut Butter + Jelly + Banana + Apple + Raisin on Wheat)
4. Wheat + Tuna Salad + Sweet Relish
5. Roast Beef + Tortilla + Ortega Chilli + lite cream cheese and heat it up. Don't forget to ask for hot pepper.
6. Soup - Claim Chowder, Vegie Soup

Those are my favorites. Now I'm hungry.

Everybody has his/her own review from places that he/she dines at. Fritzankotters is not the best, but it's great to dine at and it's healthy.

Went here for lunch with a friend who said it was great. Turns out he was telling the absolute truth. I’ve never been much of a sandwich guy myself but the tri-tip special sounded very good. Food arrived quickly and was borderline heavenly. Before the food arrived they offered a sample dish of their lasagna special, it was amazing. We pre ordered 10 lasagnas for dinner the next night (July 3rd). The tri-tip sandwich was so good I felt like I had to order another one, it was even better the second time around. The service was terrific all of the staff was friendly and went above and beyond to create a comfortable atmosphere. The tables have little games you can play while you wait for your food (tic-tac-toe, chess, etc.). I’m forever in debt to my friend for showing me this place.10/10...

I had a couple of coupons to use & wanted to go check the place out. What a spread! This menu offers such a huge variety of unique tastes with fun names. You can personalize your sandwiches. Take home prepared, handmade meals to your family, to cook in your oven. Owned & operated by a father & son team who have friendly & greeting personalities. We'll definitely be back. I wish I would have done this there so I could remember the name of the sandwich BUT my sandwich was roast beef, cream cheese, pimento & lettuce. AMAZING combination. It also smelled amazing & was so clean! If you're an HB local or in the area go check this place out, for sure! Next time I'm going to try a hot sandwich!
