We checked out Mario's after spending the day out and about. Mario's didn't disappoint. Located in a strip mall type complex, Mario's has plenty of parking. The inside has very festive decorations and Mexican music playing. You are greeted by a friendly hostess and immediately receive chips and salsa when you are seated. The chips were very good and the salsa was even better. Not too mild and not too spicy.....the perfect amount of heat. Our waiter was very good. He was attentive and prompt and helped guide us through the massive menu. We ordered chips with cheese and beans for an appetizer. We had wanted queso but they didn't serve that. This appetizer did not disappoint! It was loaded (and I mean loaded) with cheese! The best way I could describe this was it was basically like eating a thin crust cheese sandwich. I ordered the two taco combo for my entree. The carnitas taco is served with pico on the side. The grilled fish taco is served with chipotle mayo on the side. Both are wrapped in tinfoil to keep them warm. They were very good, especially the fish taco. You get a generous portion of fish grilled perfectly. The refried beans were delicious as well. We also ordered a burrito. It was massive and the flavor of the sauce complimented the carne asada nicely. Our daughter ordered the kids cheese enchilada combo. She really liked it. If we're ever in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to return to Mario's.

If you’re looking for a cozy spot with a magical holiday atmosphere, you must visit Mario’s. This restaurant perfectly blends authentic Mexican tradition with festive seasonal charm. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by vibrant colors, warm lights, and carefully curated decorations, including garlands, poinsettias, and holiday accents that create a truly enchanting ambiance. The beautifully tiled arches and stained-glass-style lamps add an authentic and welcoming touch, making every corner feel special. The food is simply outstanding, offering rich, authentic Mexican flavors that are perfect for sharing with family and friends. On top of that, the restaurant is impeccably clean, which is always appreciated. The customer service is exceptional. The staff is attentive and goes out of their way to make sure your experience is unforgettable. The owner, Grace, is a wonderful host, always paying attention to every detail to make you feel right at home. During this holiday season, Mario’s is the perfect place to enjoy delicious food in a warm and festive setting. Highly recommended!

What an awful, yet traumatic experience. Sitting on the out door patio. When slowly flying bugs come around me. I assumed we were outside, so a bug here or there no big deal. But more and more kept coming. That's when I looked to my left and see bugs crawling out of a crack in the wood of the window. One right after the other. They started flying. I told the staff they moved me inside. They did not seem concerned when I asked to speak to the owner or manager, I was simply told they don't have one , and the owner isn't here. I wasn't given anything to compensate the disgusting experience. Or even told that the owner would contact me. The staff didn't seem to care. The food was okay, but hard to swallow after being surrounded by bugs. I will not be coming back, clearly. This building need fumigation, or just a general wellness check.

Female manager extrememly rude. Changes drink prices and Happy "hours" without communicating with restaurant/bar patrons. General manager argues with regular customers and does not make any efforts to appease them. Mario's, Springdale and Edinger only, has long been known for its very heavy pours, inexpensive margarita happy hour prices, over-serving and extended happy hours on Mondays. The GM made sticker shock changes, without informing the regular customers, relying on "word of mouth " instead of creating and distributing drink menus, table tents, or menu board. She justifies these changes by comparing this establishment to chain restaurant prices without factoring in that chain restaurants have air conditioning and higher quality well drinks. For Cadillac Margarits, for example, they use a generic orange liquor instead of Grand Marnier, a generic melon liquor instead of Midori, etc, yet still charge as if they are selling top shelf beverages. This female manager refused to adjust the bill, instead, she has permanently banned my husband and I from the establishment. The bartender stated she will never serve me again. This was the only thing hysterical that night because I do not consume alcoholic beverages. My husband had the margaritas. Once we received the bill, is when i noticed the unadvertised prices and hours changes. Whats more, my roommate phoned in an order to go. Upon arrival, she mentioned that her order wasn't prepared correctly. Unsurprisingly, this same manager argued with her and reluctantly replaced it with a poor attitude. She is relying on word if mouth, well...

Driving by Mario's Mexican Restaurant, where I had never been before, I decided to check it out as it looked like a decent place to eat Mexican food from the outside. I have to say it was a very disappointing experience, to say the least. I asked for albondiga vegetable soup, and what we got was a red watery spicy hot soup with no flavor and hard vegetables, so spicy hot, we could not even eat it, afterwards we brought it to the attention of the server and suggesting we try their chicken and vegetable soup that wasn't spicy, we went for it, and what we got was a red more water down soup with hard pieces of chicken, hard vegetables, no salt, and no flavor at whatsoever. Although the soup didn't taste good, we did eat the soup, because we were hungry, but we believe they watered down the same spicy hot soup we had returned and added added pieces of chicken with the same hard vegetables from the albondiga soup, which tasted even worce because this time there was no salt, and no flavor, and it was as if they poured water and added chicken and vegetables. I will never again step one foot at this restaurant, and for this business owner and the cook, I have something to say to you. Your business and employment will not be there tomorrow if you continue to screw your customers as you did to us. I do not...
