Visited Store # 19320 (Warner and Bolsa Chica) today and after entering the store, we were three customers waiting to order. Several employees including the manager, was walking back and forth in the rear of the store without even glenzing to the front to see if there were any customers waiting. When I finally was about to leave, one finally came to the front counter. I ask the young man, if they had any special for two cheeseburger's, like two for $5 or something similar, he answer was yes. With out receiving an answer on who much a set of two would be, I ordered three sets, for a total of six cheeseburger's, all without pickles. And the wait started :-) When the order finally came, I was given three cheeseburger's with pickles. I asked the young man to please correct the order, he promptly disappeared to the interior of the store and next the manager came to the front desk with a terrible attitude, ripped the bag out of my hand, refunded the purchase. The young man can be great with training but the manager should not be working there anymore. If any of the franchisee owners are reading this, please contact me. So, the moral of this story, my grandkids did not get there beloved cheeseburger's, I wasted some of my time and the store that has made large investments in rehabbing the store, just got their reputation stained by one really bad...
Read moreThe place is designed to omit walk up orders. The app isn't working so I couldn't put in my parking number so I had to go in to get my order. While in there, the staff did all they can NOT to notice me. I want the only one in there. A man was waiting to order at the counter and was not attended to for a while, at least when I came in to the point I walked out with my order. Another gentleman walked and and received the same treatment. The staff was so close to is they clearly saw us. He eventually had to raise his voice so we can get some service. Of course the food was sitting there getting cold. I understand they are busy but not to the point that the front counter area is completely ignored. A sad and disappointing store to represent McDonalds. This place has a 2 star rating but I still considered them as they are in the area. Im sure the owner knows that customers are going there anyway and does nothing to improve customer service with the overpaid employees. The sad economic dilemma for the American taxpayer at the mercy of sub par service and no choice but to go there for a McDonalds that cannot provide simple human kindness and...
Read moreWe've all had those long days at work, when we just want to get home, not cook, not anything other than kick the shoes off, and lose the work clothes, and try to relax with our kids, family, loved ones, etc.etc. So we're having McDonald's for dinner, which we pick up on our way home. I don't know why, but it seems that every time we have "McDonald's night", it goes like this....... "Hi kids, hi honey, the food is down here on the table, can you come down and hand it all out, so I can get these clothes off?" she comes down I go up, clean up a little just to get comfortable..... Only to hear this, "honey, did you order Johnny's hamburger ketchup only, Sarah's nuggets with bbq, and where's your food, did you already eat it?" This was supposed to be a ten piece so the baby could have some....... Any other day, night, weekend.... Mostly no problems, good service, hot food, etc etc. " I know, I know, but, can't I just this one time, grab the four big bags of food, put it on the seat, and get home, to find all the food that I properly ordered, verified, and paid for, actually in the bags".
