Unfortunately, my negative experience came without ever getting to the place. More than two weeks ago I reserved a space there for my family for 4th of July. They had very specific blocks of time and we paid for 5 to 9pm. 4 chairs and a fire pit. We're coming from out of town and built the rest of our trip around this event, which happens to be the only part of the trip my wife asked for. Now they are telling me that they can't hold my spot unless at least one person from my party arrives at noon. It's just going to be too much trouble for their staff to keep people from sitting in reserved spaces. I said I would pay for the whole day. I don't care if someone uses it before we get there. No No. Too much trouble for them to make sure people in seats have wristbands. Of course they do this when it's too late to make reservations somewhere else for that night. But why should they care. Now they get to give the space to someone who will be there an extra 5 hours, SPENDING MONEY on drinks and food. The place has good reviews. Too bad we will never get the experience because they can't be bothered to honor their commitments. No fireworks on the beach for us. Maybe next year. I won't bother booking space at HBH though. Thanks for ruining...

Me and my husband are on our pre-honeymoon and we decided to get some food at the Huntington Beach House and to be honest with you. We were expecting it to be good, but it wasn’t really all that especially because we got the popular items recommended to us my husband got the shrimp bang bang rice, which honestly was not really good at all. There’s a certain spice that they put in it or like a sweet sauce they put on it That overpowers the whole entire dish itself. We ordered the XL beach Nachos and we were very disappointed because it was very soggy cold and liking the flavor and the cheese doesn’t look too appetizing. And the meat is really dry. And overcooked now I do have to say the shrimp tacos was the best thing on the menu that we ordered. It was really good but I would say the shrimp is way too big and pretty messy to eat so overall that’s why I gave my two stars aside from that the views eating at the beach is quite beautiful. I also forgot to mention that I did receive a cup of ice and there was stuff floating inside of it black looking things so be careful when you get your ice look at it before...

Picked this place on a whim to meet up with my mother in law for brunch. All three of us loved our food and sitting outside by the beach was super nice. Wasn't crazy busy considering it was a Sunday. My one criticism is that they had a DJ playing music and it was just a little too loud. At one point I'm pretty sure he turned it up more. If they just lowered the volume a smidge it would've been perfect.

Edit in May of 2025: I feel bad taking off a star after the fact, but I visited this place again today and was pretty turned off by the fact that they now have security guards at the entrance that demand to search your bags and won't let you in with sealed bottles of water or any liquids really. None of the other restaurants on the beach are doing this. You're taking yourselves too seriously. You're a beach establishment. People need to...

We attended one of the events with DJ’s and musicians. Drinks at this spot are easy to order as they have about 3 to 4 bartenders that work quickly to take and fill drink orders. Drinks are decently priced and tasted good (margaritas, Moscow Mule, etc.) Food is available as well, general “bar food” for the most part, nothing fancy but it will fill you up as they do give large servings. It’s a Vibe spot that has various fun events often. People that come here are lively, lots of dancing and people conversation and having a fun time! Plenty of restrooms as well but maybe bring some wet naps as it’s public.

A few months ago, my co-workers and I stopped here for lunch before catching our flight home. The location is fantastic (I would love to return to visit the beach and walk the trail), the food was delicious, the DJ was good, and staff were nice. There was no soap at the bathrooms when I was there, so bring some sanitizer. For those from out of state, you have to pay state parking fees at the lot, but honestly it’s worth it for the food and location! I hope to visit again someday.
