Phở Lux — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant today. I live literally next door and just wanted to quickly pick up a pho. I left my dog in the car because I thought it would be a super short stop: just place my order, go back home with my dog and the grocery, and then come back for the pho.

Instead, the woman kept me waiting at the counter for 15 minutes without even taking my order. She just said something like, “Oh, I’m busy today, I’m doing this and that,” but didn’t bother to actually take my order or ring me up. I was just left standing there like an idiot.

To make it worse, she only had one table to serve, and when one of the customer asked for water, she went off to get it and completely ignored me again. It was unbelievably disrespectful and terrible service. I was furious because she basically treated me like I didn’t matter at all. I told her I just wanted a rare beef pho and she still didn’t take me seriously! I don’t recommend it.

I ended up not even getting any food. The staff simply ignored me the entire time. I didn’t get served, didn’t place an order, and eventually just lost my patience and left with nothing. Pretty disappointing...

So so good.....! Came for first time wwith a visiting friend from Ireland. She loooves pho and thought this was so so good. The service is truly unsurpassed. The owners Ryan and his wife come out and greet diners. All the staff and I mean ALL THE STAFF check on you when they walk by... you look up for anything they rush to your side to ask what you need but at no time huffer. They have these great cups wiith initials ...I asked what they were for... Ryan explained his wife bought cups with initials for tea or coffee. I mentioned the one he was holding was my son's initials...a few mins later he came back from the kitchen with that a cup and said "here...take this home to your son"...OMG so kind. I will never forget it. But the food is truly really good. I've visited 3 times and always better than the last. Served just right...I enjoy a glass of wine here with pho and AMAZING GARLIC SHRIMP NOODLES. Price is right, food Is great, best service ever!! A must do!!

Placed an Uber Eats order and I boy was I glad I picked this spot!! My first time ever trying this place!! Vegetarian tofu spring rolls and regular pork and shrimp spring rolls were incredibly fresh and delightful to eat with their sauce. The rare filet mignon meat, soup, and noodles were packaged nicely and pleasant to open. Brought the broths to boil and pour into the noodle and meats. Portions were ample- meat portion was plenty, noodle was VERY FRESH, and that savory broth was plentiful! They also provided super fresh bean sprouts, basil, jalepeno slices...oh and lots of sriracha and hoisin sauces. I LOVED my dinner after a long day. I cannot wait to get my vaccine doses complete so I can go there and feast. I was impressed by the fresh clean quality of ingredients, and they did not skimp on any of it! This place is SPOT ON with their broth flavor profile too- not watered down like some places. This joint is definitely...
