I borrowed a friend's bike to pick up some food for myself. Unfortunately I didn't have anyway to secure it so I figured taking it inside for a quick take out order wouldn't be a problem. I was wrong. A woman in the back by the name of Wendy had told (not asked) me I can't have my bike in there. I kindly explained I didn't have any way to chain it up anywhere, but she wasn't having it. So I asked if someone can call me outside if my order was ready. Instead they sent a customer to call me, he was nice enough to watch my bike as I grabbed my order. I know the store probably has a policy but the last thing I want is to have to explain to my friend his $500 road bike was stolen just because they didn't want me to have my bike inside. Mind you this bike was nowhere in the way of anyone, and was closest to the wall as possible. Like I said I know there's a policy but there are ways of approaching this situation rather than ordering/demanding their customers to follow procedure. Read moreThe place is very neat and in a busy area of Huntington park near Pacific Blvd. yet the service is 100% . The staff there have been very attentive and even remembered my name on two occasions!! The food is always fresh and hot! They still have soda machines available for self serve which I like because who wants to pay twice for something that used to be free before the pandemic! We’re low on cash as it is ..lol I also like that they have plenty of coupons that the store honors...
