Goodfella's Beef — Restaurant in Huntley

Food is great and staff is friendly but it would be nice if they answered their phones.... called 5 times and still no answer. Great way to make a starving customer angry.

UPDATE: still not answering phones. Sitting outside in parking lot watching the lady ignoring the phone. Can’t even get inside because the door is broken and can’t open. She’s sitting there staring at me while I’m struggling to open their stuck door. This is NOT the place you want to go for dinner. UPDATE #2 lady opens the door because it was LOCKED at 5:09pm they close at 8pm. Their cook didn’t show up and she’s refusing my order. I’ve seen her there by herself before with no problems. I’m a regular customer usually go in once a week maybe or every other week. They have the best double bacon cheeseburgers around. I’ve been there durning the weekdays on like Monday and Tuesday as well just not the same. The two guys on Sunday and Saturday durning the weekend days really know what there doing so I would go durning the weekend days rather than a weekday. I also really enjoy there meatball subs and hot dogs as well but the guys on Saturday know how to cook up really good burger. I just stopped in Goodfellas today for lunch for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. Growing up in Chicago, I had many outstanding hot dog stands within a short radius from my house. Since I moved to Huntley, I've had trouble finding a good place for a dog or burger that's close by (beef shack was disappointing).

Today I had 2 dogs Chicago style. I really enjoyed it and the fries were delicious.

I'll have to return and try more of the menu to be sure, but Goodfellas made a great first...
