Read moreThe food here is absolutely delicious. I celebrated receiving my masters on August 3rd and chose El Carbonero for our after ceremony festivities. It was close to the school and had a high rating. When I called to speak to the owner, they were so friendly and helpful that I decided to pay them a visit to sample the menu. After experiencing such a warm and friendly reception and seeing how tasty the food was and how clean the restaurant and restrooms were, I was convinced El Carbonero was the place to host our dinner. And I was right! Every one of the 20 people that accompanied me enjoyed the food; and there was an international mix supporting me that day. Some have already returned for seconds. The food was excellent. The service was incredible. Everyone was so nice and attentive. The restaurant and restrooms are both very clean. It is truly a hidden treasure. The charbroiled chicken, chaufa rice, charro beans, flan, pupusas de puerco, the aguas frescas were all so tasty; you just have to go and try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed. The owner and manager are very friendly, you'll be glad you chose Carbonero. I'm certainly glad to...
Read moreJust came here with the wife and kids and had a great time. The food was excellent as always, we ordered from the lunch menu where prices range $5-10. Wife got Pupusas and I got Pollo Con Camarones - no complaints! Their food is El Salvadorian and actually pretty healthy compared to your typical Tex-Mex. They use less cheese for sure. Their chicken is best grilled. Kids got Mac n cheese which is a huge bowl, the other got grilled cheese with fries. They ate most of it. Service could have been better and we were missing the owner but he's probably enjoying the holidays with family. He usually comes by and is all sweet to our boys. You can tell he just loves people. We will be back! - 12/24/18
I gave this place another shot and I gotta say the rotisserie chicken was really good. I guess they have taken suggestions to heart and really improved in the last year or so. They have a fair priced lunch menu around $5-7. The waiters were also very nice and attentive which is a vast improvement as well. Maybe they fired the bad ones off. I will be giving this place more...
