Old Town Theatre — Attraction in Huntsville

Even in 100 degree heat and high humidity, the theater was nice and cool. The lighting was excellent. The acoustics are great. The building and seats are clean and well maintained. The seats are roomy and comfortable.

The theater is staffed by volunteers. They are friendly and welcoming. You can tell they truly love their work. The prices are reasonable. They have a concessions stand at the very front that sells anything you could want, even adult beverages.

They bring in talent, shows, performers, etc that you would expect to see in large venues in major cities. We saw a performer who was well known from his television appearances and his shows all over the country.

There is plenty of free parking. It's just off the town square, so there is plenty to do and see on the way in and out. There's lots of good restaurants in the area as well. If you haven't tried it, you should. You will be...

Wife &I (date night) went to see William Lee Martin and had a very enjoyable night. Got to meet him, shake hands, and get autographs. His setup and routines were great. Theater is intimate and you can see the stage from any seat. It's a nonprofit group so don't expect any big theater refreshments but they had various drinks and facilities. Got there early and it was a tedious wait, the show started off slow but the opening act got things rolling and "wee-wee" got the place rocking. Great little theater! We went to see the Texas Tenors. The seats were great and the sound was good. I was concerned because it is small that the sound wouldn't be the best. I was very impressed with it and will definitely return. The only downside is that parking is terrible. We parked on the street blocks away. There is nothing close by.
