Residents or visitors of Huntsville may already be aware that they are spoiled by choice in Rocket City. However, after a slice (okay, maybe more like three), I’ll personally be moving Earth and Stone much higher in my list of choices when choosing an eatery when I’m craving a slice (or two, or three). Even better, Campus No. 805 is a new hot spot in Huntsville for those looking for good food and fun events your whole family or group can enjoy.
Cheesy Bread
First, we decided we just couldn’t wait—we started with a little appetizer, a plate of cheesy bread with their marinara sauce. The only reason these lasted long enough to snap a quick photo is the heat factor—everything we ordered was piping hot and fresh from the oven.
The Porkalicious
For those looking for a classic meat lover’s pizza, this is your time to order and enjoy a hearty, meaty slice of pizza. While I, admittedly, felt a little self-conscious standing at the counter and ordering something called a “porkalicious,” this pizza delivers—vegetarians beware of this one (maybe check out The Greene Street instead for a veggie slice)!
Buffalo Chicken
Last, but certainly not least, we have Earth and Stone’s buffalo chicken pizza. Their take on the classic pie features the usual standards (buffalo chicken, white sauce, red onions, and a drizzle of ranch), but this pizza excels in the execution. All those fresh ingredients pay off with a pizza that simply does buffalo...
Read moreSo I found this place because I googled REAL BRICK OVEN PIZZA NEAR ME. This was the first place that popped up and had some pretty good reviews. Now I am born and bread in Brooklyn New York, so I know pizza, and this was NOT BRICK OVEN PIZZA; which is fair because the restaurant says wood fire pizza, BUT the 1 star is not because of a brick oven. I ordered 3 pizzas; the margarita, the chicken pesto, and infamous Tommy G. of the three pizzas that I ordered the only one that was actually prepared decently was the Tommy. the margarita pizza did not have nearly enough cheese as a proper margherita pizza should have and the sauce was as sweet as AL tea. The chicken pesto Pizza had absolutely no sauce on it and the dough was extremely dry. My wife has a minor case of cottonmouth from the dryness of the pizza. To add to the frustration of my experience here, there was nowhere to sit even though there were open tables. They were full of dishes and trash and only after I asked about a particular table was anyone available or willing to clean it off. The BEST thing I had from the Earth and Stone was the free water. I did not ask a manager for, I paid my $50 for my three pizzas and freewater and went back to my hotel knowing that I will not be back...
Read moreListen it’s rare I take the time to leave reviews on places but i was extremely disappointed by this place… they have pictures of slices online but you can only get them on Friday and Saturday nights apparently, which is kind of misleading and irritating in my opinion.. I’m from out of town so I was trying to stop somewhere fast and to find out somewhere I thought sold spices doesn’t, like I don’t have time to go somewhere else now. I will say they helped me out and gave me one from night before. Service was wonderful. But it was $14 for two slices with 2 toppings which is already insane pricing to me… then they came out burnt and absolutely no cheese on them… for $7 a slice. This is truly one of the worst slices I’ve ever had. Then it was an entire dollar for a tiny cup of ranch on top of it. After paying essentially $20 for two mediocre slices of pizza after tip yall need to charge a whole dollar for ranch? Like just wayyy over priced and not good at all. If I didn’t feel bad for the staff I would go up and ask for a refund, that’s how crappy this pizza is. Like it’s edible. That’s all. I would not come here for food. Brewery is cool but eat somewhere else 😅 maybe whole pizzas are better. I wouldn’t chance it at this...
