Edit 4.11.25 We tried again. Quiet on a Friday early afternoon. Sat at the bar again and were greeted much quicker. But after opening a tab, staff disappeared! I drink slower, but hubs wanted a different beer for round 2 and never got it. Even pushed the empty glass to the end of the bar to show we needed service. The two gents working had vanished into the back. One came out a time or two, assisted other bar patrons, but didn't come our way for refill service. Had to approach the "walk up" area to show we wanted to check out. Horrible service considering the better options within a minute of walking nearby. We are at one now, again, getting better served!
Original review: The beer is great, which is why I hate leaving a less than stellar review. But we've experienced many breweries over the country and this was the WORST service. I know some places have specific order points but if this location does it's not marked. We sat at the bar. Nothing from staff, so when seats cleared we moved closer to the pos. Still nothing from staff. We sat for some time and the red headed bartender ignored us. She did talk to the couple next to us, and a group at the end of the bar, but never even greeted us. Finally my husband got up and moved one foot to the right and immediately was greeted and ordered. Got our beers, and then not another acknowledgement. If you don't serve people from the bar then don't do it at all. But to talk to two groups and not mention the one in the middle... like, if you have an ordering point then that makes sense. But we were not even told to order one foot from where we sat, no signs, and other bar groups were tended to, so this was ridiculous.
We also overheard that even though it was only around 6pm that they were done making food which was a bummer because their pizza sounds amazing. So we went to a different brewery and got better service and some food. I guess we'd try coming back if we're in the area, but if that one bartender is working then we'll just save the hassle...
Read moreInnerspace Brewing Company is a delightful and unconventional nexus where brewing ingenuity meets the cosmos. Nestled in Huntsville, this independent brewery has ingeniously fashioned an ambiance that tips its hat to Star Trek and NASA, making for a decidedly 'out of this world' experience.
The variety of house-made beers is impressively wide, providing choices that cater to the whims of both seasoned connoisseurs and adventurous novices alike. Each brew seems to tell a story, inviting drinkers on a taste journey through the galaxy of their vast assortment.
The cherry on top of the Innerspace experience is undoubtedly the wood-fired pizza oven, emanating warmth and the irresistible scent of bubbling cheese and charred crust. The pizzas act as the perfect edible companions to their beers, making the pairing a gastronomic exploration in itself.
And if that isn't enough to captivate, the brewery also offers an array of board games for patrons to enjoy free of charge, creating a convivial environment that harks back to the laid-back camaraderie of old-time taverns.
In essence, Innerspace Brewing Company is more than just a brewery. It's a convivial gathering spot that amalgamates imaginative brewing, enticing eats, and quirky, playful decor. It's a 'must-visit' for any beer lover...
Read moreI moved from Huntsville about a year ago and this was my absolute favorite brewery in town. I went nearly every Saturday for the football seasons I lived in Huntsville (as well as more than the occasional Saturday not during football season) and not only are the beer and pizza fantastic, the people are as well. Every employee I've come across here has been kind and willing to give recommendations.
I write this review a few months after leaving Huntsville because this is the type of place where the people really care and go above and beyond. I once asked if I could buy a glass from here (since it's my favorite brewery) and have held that glass as a sentimental keepsake. A couple weeks ago, a friend came over and accidentally broke it, which was fine, if sad to lose. The friend called Innerspace to buy a new glass and explained the situation, and not only did Innerspace ship a glass several states over, they also completely unprompted paid for shipping and threw in a free t-shirt.
TL;DR, the quality of beer and pizza are absolutely fantastic and the people are as well. Well worth your money and support! This is the type of place I still tell people about, even after moving across...
