Long review incoming (BLUF - don't order curbside and hope you don't have to deal with managers there. They don't care):
I’m not even sure where to begin – overall, I ordered through the McDonald’s App for curbside pickup. I arrive at the McDonald’s location and park in curbside parking spot #4 at approximately 9:48pm. After waiting over 20 minutes, my application updated, indicating the order had been delivered to me. I waited another 2 or so minutes to make sure they hadn’t updated the curbside delivery status inside and were about to walk out. When still nobody appeared, I proceeded to drive through the drive-thru. I asked the worker on the speaker, after waiting an additional 5 minutes of silence at the speaker, why they indicated my order was delivered curbside and if I could still pick up my order. He instructed me to pull ahead. When I pulled ahead to the first window, I could see two workers walking around inside the store, with open McDonald’s containers inside what looked like a back room, half eaten. When I moved up to the pickup window, I could see my bag was waiting at the pickup window, clearly labeled “Curbside 4”. They handed me my food, which did not have my order of French fries in the bag. I then asked for a manager. I do not recall her name, but the manager that appeared immediately seemed annoyed. I asked her why I sat for over 20 minutes at curbside pickup with nobody delivering food. She did not apologize, and simply stated ‘We don’t have people doing curbside’. I asked why, then, was my order indicated as delivered in the app if it wasn’t dropped off. She shrugged and said, “I don’t know…”. I asked if there was something they could do to inform customers know curbside pickup was unavailable, and she said “Yeah, I’ll let them know.” Not once did I receive any apology, and the entire conversation with the manager on duty on 31 July 2024 at 10:15pm was extremely cold on the manager’s part. She did not seem to care at all about my experience, and again, did not apologize once. I then informed the manager; I don’t have any fries in my bag. And she just asked the workers to get me my order of fries, again, with no apology at all. I then got back to my house and saw the burger was given to me plain – not what I ordered. Then when I went to open my dipping sauce, I found it had already been opened and was unsealed. As the workers only gave me one sauce, I was unable to use any sauce, as I do not feel it is sanitary to use an already-opened sauce. This was an absolutely horrible experience and does not have me wanting to return to that McDonald’s location ever again, especially with a manager that doesn’t care at all about customer service. We’ll see if McDonald’s corporate gets back to me about...
Read moreNight manager wasn't trained too well Got my order wrong, fries were cold yet the ice cream sundaes I ordered for me & mom at home sat on counter melting & they looked wonderful!!! But while fries were dropped .. I had to wait several minutes for them to finish.. so I asked politely if the sundaes could be made fresh since obviously they had melted quite a bit..at first they hesitantly replaced them.. only this time they were half the size of the first ones. The whip cream wasn't even inside the domed lid.. It was like I got punished for their inconvenience.. and stood solid on absolutely not making anything right with the problem. Unbelievable. I was disheartened. I never want altercations with anyone. But I worked as a manager at McDonald's & we were trained to always be sure the customer leaves happy. As well as noone clocks out until the last customer is served. Overtime was never an issue when it depended on customer satisfaction because that's what keeps them coming back. That's what running a business is all about. So to be perfectly honest in my opinion I feel for the most part my children were our last generation that would actually go to work everyday. Nobody even wants to get along these days much less be trying to please random strangers for exchange for a wage. Everything must be given without being earned.. The slim percentage of folks who still have a smidgen of conscious & neighborly type decency are slowly dying off now.. OMFG, what could possibly go wrong in the next decades? I really do hope that someone will read this & just sit back & truly reminisce on the most important moments or our closest friends & family.. Possibly the ones that really don't deserve anything at all because they broke your trust, lied to you, manipulated you, turned their back on you, snitched on you, cheated, stole, used drugs. Maybe they have different beliefs..?? GET REALLY QUIET IN YOUR HEADSPACE Y'ALL... DEEP BREATH... 🙊🙉🙈 Most of us that can't look past things by offering our time & concern for those same folks that spit in our faces for whatever reasons.. Please don't get me wrong I don't mean to be walked all over again and again . What I mean is everyone deserves a second sometimes even a third or more chance... You yourself must use the wisdom & discernment we are all given to make fair just decisions. Remember mistakes are called mistakes for a reason. As you surely know, those are lessons for future wisdom &...
Read moreOh,where to begin? This location doesn't deserve 1 star .... Pros: Plenty of Empty Tables an surprisingly no Line ( Inside or out)!!! Even tho every restaurant near by was pretty busy! So I was greeted in a non professional unfriendly way by the manager who proceeded to take my order. Simple order at that .. special mchicken an a fry... 20 mins later, I was presented with an old hard sandwich an order of cold fries. I returned my order an requested for fresh cooked food, bc this was unacceptable. The manager brought my sandwich back to the grill, added lettuce an returned it to me without saying a word, just simply walked off.. during this time a young girl in Drive Thru proceeded to yell across the store to another employee, "guess what's waiting for me at home? A drug test! Guess tonight's going to be my last night" .. the manager was more focused on goofing off with the employees, holding personal conversations,an taking snapchat pictures with the crew instead of focusing on customer service... I threw my food away, an went elsewhere... I wasn't going to take the chance of getting sick. I Will NOT be back, an highly recommend that if you want McDonald's, go to another location..Save Yourself the Trouble an inconvenience.. after this visit, it was visibly clear why this location was empty during rush hour but yet all the restaurants surrounding it had lines wrapped around the building .. If the health dept did an unexpected visit, this location would of failed miserably with just food safety alone. The "fast, friendly, accurate" & " Hot an Fresh" motto doesn't apply to this store apparently. Such a disappointment.... anyone who has ever worked in a restaurant knows, "the customer is not always right, but the reason we have a Job is because of the customer". It really appears as tho, this location needs a new set of managers that know how to lead by example an actually...
