My husband and I came here for some quick spaghetti. I didn’t bother ordering an entree because I wasn’t super hungry and I didn’t expect anything very different from other Italian restaurants I’ve experienced in Huntsville. There are plenty of places in this city I enjoy, please don’t mistake my tone for one of dismissal for all Italian restaurants here; I just wasn’t expecting a vastly different experience. The seating area is simple and small, and be aware that alcohol is not a beverage option here. I ordered mozzarella sticks because I just wanted to snack, and my husband ordered Spaghetti: The Works. I obnoxiously of course had to have a bite of my husband’s food too. It was amazing!!! The sauce was so good! It was simple, and you could taste each ingredient. It was obvious that every element added to the sauce was fresh and chosen with care. The pasta was delicious and cooked perfectly. Even my silly cheese sticks were the best I’ve ever had. I feel like a lot of places make really good food with lots of salt and butter and meat, but Nonna’s cooks with care and fresh ingredients. I cannot wait to come back and get the gnocchi! This sweet little restaurant is definitely worth...
Read moreThis was our first attempt at trying to order from here. We ordered $81 worth of food and saw delivery was offered instead of pick up. Waited an hour before contacting trying to figure out where our food was. The store said the delivery driver was 10-15 minutes away, then we received a text saying the driver was about to leave the store. Waited another 20 minutes and got a text saying our food was delivered. Called the number and was told our food was delivered outside. While I was standing outside. I was offered a refund and I told them we didn’t want a refund, we wanted our food -as we had kids inside waiting for food. They couldn’t offer that. I got off the phone and called the 256 number for the store and attempted to tell whoever answered the phone what happened and he kept trying to speak over me until I said to please let me finish and he hung up on me. So here we are, at 4:18, having ordered food at 2:25… still no food and horrible customer service. We ended up not getting any food from Nonna’s and we...
Read moreIf I could review this place lower than a one star I would. Me and my family all ordered different platters. To start off with, our table was served cold burnt rock hard bread. The tops were all black. My mother ordered the cannelloni. Her beef was gray and had no seasonings in it, only thing you could taste was the cheese. I had better frozen italian from walmart than any of my familys plates that were ordered from here. My husband ordered the parmesan chicken. His chickens breading was soggy and the chicken itself was rubbery and old. I ordered the lobster ravioli. The sauce tasted bitter and I had multiple hard shells in my ravioli.when I went to point this out to the owner of the restaurant she became very irritated telling me that shells are apart of the dish and to expect finding them in a seafood pasta? I was shocked by how this owner acted after politely pointing out something in my dish. The bill was 80$ for dishes we only ate 2 bites out of. Do not recommend this...
