Come on, folks! You can do better making the pizza we order! The store posts a health department score of 99! Thats awesome. That tells me you have an attention to detail and take the necessary rigor to keep things clean and healthy in the kitchen! Cudos! Why is that same rigor lost when making what the customer ordered?
Its sad that I habitually open my pizza boxes when I go to pick them up. Because half the time I pick up my order, some detailed customization has been absolutely ignored. Based on similar reviews, its obviously a systemic issue with this location.
I used to tip on a pre-paid pizza after pickup until I experienced all the errors. When I get three orders in a row that are correct, I will restart my tipping again. I really want to help the employees in these hard times, but it shouldnt be hard to read "minus onions" and actually omit the onions.
So, stop putting this invoice/receipt in front of me to sign for a pre-paid pizza. I know you want me to tip. For this location, I dont tip until I see the pizza is made correctly. And then I will tip cash. For now, you will get the big 'X' across the whole thing, or I will just ignore it.

He was very nice and patient after I asked him a question whether the staff will continue to practice the common-sense, safe gesture of continuing to mask up even after Alabama's mask mandate ends April 9th as several other businesses are continuing to do. He said that seems to be the plan and I was shocked that a female manager/staff at the 2806 Memorial Parkway Papa John's location near Aldi's and Sports Academy was not wearing one today and didn't seem friendly when I picked up my pizza at near 12 PM. Who knows, this may be the new location to get pizza for best in customer service where everybody of staff, suppliers, customers are required or enforced to keep wearing a mask as we are still in the pandemic and comfort and safety matters. I called the manager (Kieth) cause we ordered a pizza that said no cheese clearly then he persisted to tell me I ordered the pizza wrong. If there was a question shouldn't there be a call made about the order?
