Honestly would have been a five star review if it wasn't for our waiter. The hostess was super friendly and so were some of the other staff members. I guess we got a server that was having a bad day or something. His attitude the whole time was quite rude. I get he doesn't have to radiate positivity or anything but he was just down right dismissive talking to us. He did however get the food to our table so it wasn't COMPLETELY terrible service. Being a waitress myself I can never imagine approaching my tables the way he does. The food however was amazing. I got the viagra roll and crunchy shrimp roll along with a miso soup. Miso soup was steamy, fresh, and flavorful. The sushi was probably the best sushi I've had in a long time. Eel sauce was yum and the shrimp inside was perfect and had a good crunch. My friend got the gyoza and California roll and she loved hers as well. Our server brought our checks as soon as possible, almost felt like he just didn't want to deal with us anymore. Not sure if he just thought we wouldn't tip because we're younger or what. We paid and my friend needed a box, but he ran off before she could ask and we had to wait and attempt to stop him a few times before he finally brought it. I still love I love Sushi nonetheless and would recommend it to everyone. Usually the service is much better than this so I won't hold it against them.

This was my first time at this restaurant. Because of the rise in Covid-19 cases, we ordered online for pickup. I really wanted to try the sushi but felt in order for me to really enjoy it I needed to dine in. So, I opted for the dinner combination of Salmon Teriyaki with fried rice and Gyoza. Our food was ready by the time we got there to pick it up which wasn't too long so that was a plus. The restaurant appeared to be busy with lots of patrons coming in and going out. The hostess was very friendly despite being very busy. The only issue was that we selected the fried rice instead of the steamed rice (there's a $3 upcharge). While they correctly substituted it, there system didn't charge us the upharge fee so we had an additional balance upon arrival. It's understandable, but be aware of this. The gyoza was delicious, but surprisingly, for me, the fried rice with the vegetables was amazing. The salmon teriyaki had a great tasting sauce but it was just okay. Also, the portion sizes of the food was more than enough. I had leftovers for lunch. I saw pics of the sushi online and I can't wait to come back to try it.

Came to I Love Sushi for dinner Saturday night. The restaurant is attractive and modern but ultimately, in my opinion, not worth the high price tag. We had gyoza to start, which were definitely the highlight of the meal. Some of the best gyoza I've had in Huntsville, extra crispy on the outside but soft and flavorful on the inside. I had the teriyaki chicken and my boyfriend had spicy chicken and beef teriyaki. The miso soup we started with was pretty good, and the ginger salad was quite unremarkable but decent. My chicken teriyaki had a nice grilled flavor, but the teriyaki sauce was lacking in sweetness a bit for both of our tastes. The steak was better. We didn't like the spicy chicken at all. The side of vegetables were undercooked, the potatoes to the point of being inedible. Our waitress was very nice and very efficient. The hostesses could have stood to be a bit quicker. I would go to I Love Sushi again if asked, but for the price vs the quality, I probably wouldn't return on my own.

Absolutely, without a doubt, the worst experience ever!! If it was possible to remove every star given to this restaurant after today, I would. After being a loyal customer for several years, I’ve visited the restaurant twice in the same week. Earlier this week there was an issue with my step mom’s soup, and it was sent back and the bill was corrected.

However, after today’s visit and having an issue again with the food, the manager suggested we only order what we know that we like instead of trying something new. My mom could not even eat the steak because of how old, and how tough it was. The manager told us that because we had an issue earlier this week on Tuesday that there was nothing that could be done about the horrible food experience for today.

We then just said to bring the bill so we could pay for what we owe. The manager continue to argue with us about what we should pay or what we’re going to be compensated for instead of just bringing the bill. When the bill was finally brought to the table in two checks, my sisters card was swiped twice to pay for both of the separate bills. Instead of receiving an apology, we were told to wait 2 to 3 days and it should clear up, or come back and try to fix it if it didn’t correct itself through the bank.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, we left two dollars on the table because that’s what we thought the meal experience was worth. The waitress had the nerve to come out and try to return the tip one dollar to my moms car and one dollar to my car in the parking lot.

I only wish that they would close the doors to this restaurant and do Huntsville a favor and never serve...

As many times as I have eaten at "I Love Sushi," and let me tell you, it's a true gem in the world of raw fish and rice! 🍣

Jim Xue, the mastermind behind this sushi sensation, has taken the art of sushi-making to new heights. With every bite, it's clear that he pours his heart and soy sauce into every roll. 🥢

The menu is like a sushi-lover's dream come true – from classic California rolls to the fanciest dragon rolls, there's something for everyone. And if you're feeling adventurous, try the "Jim's Surprise" – it's like a sushi lottery where everyone wins! Pretty sure this is not on the menu but if he is there I ask him to surprise me 😁🎉

Now, let's talk about the atmosphere. The restaurant has an ambiance that's as inviting as a warm bowl of miso soup on a rainy day. It's like Jim said, "Let's make it cozy and roll with it!" 🍵

Service? Top-notch. They're faster than you can say "wasabi." And Jim himself makes sure your dining experience is as smooth as fresh sashimi. 🍶

So, if you're looking for sushi that's made with passion, served with a smile, and leaves your taste buds dancing like they're at a sushi party, 'I Love Sushi' is the place to be. Jim Xue, you've mastered the art of sushi, my friend. Bravo! 👏👏👏

P.S. Try the green tea ice cream – it's the perfect sweet finale to a sushi symphony! 🍦🍵🍣 Jim and His Brother do amazing things I wish them all the success...
