Taco Bell — Restaurant in Huntsville

This location has been awful for weeks now & seems to be getting no better. It is to the point I refuse to buy any food from HERE for the last 3 times my husband & I have been here. A week ago we stopped by on our way home for a quick meal. We each went to wash our hands...FORGET THAT!!! Both restrooms were nasty with the trashcans overflowing. The toilet in the ladies room looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in ages not to mention the smell was overwhelming & my sense of smell has disintegrated over the years. I noticed there was no hourly check sheets on the back of the doors as I understand are to be in all public toilets. No wonder this place was a mess...no one working here seems to care about it or they are too ashamed to sign their name where they have checked it but not done anything! My husband was totally appalled at the condition of the men's room & had me look at it...What is the deal? Do men just not care about restrooms or is it just the men working here? But we were hungry so we were going to stick it out...NOT!!!! The floor in the dining room obviously hadn't been mopped probably for days let alone having been swept. By this time I wasn't going to eat here but leaned over the counter to check out the kitchen area....BIG MISTAKE...I don't know how they were walking around back there without falling & breaking something as food was all over the floor. I was so disgusted I grabbed my husband & we walked out saying how dismayed we were about this place being so nasty. The girls at the counter made snide remarks to us as we were leaving.

I gave the place several days to be cleaned before I went back to get breakfast over the weekend. I went in again & the first thing I saw was the same trash that had been under the soda area earlier was still there. I checked the ladies room & the trashcan was over flowing. I knocked on the door of the men's room & stuck my head in there only to once again see it the same way it was before! There were still no hourly check sheets in either one. Every table in the dining room except for two that had customers sitting at them had trash sitting on them or they hadn't been wiped clean yet. The place wasn't busy & the two females working there could have cared less about how clean the place was as they were too busy talking to each other. My presence as a customer made no difference. I checked out the kitchen & it could have been a video of my visit a few days earlier!

Today rolled around & I was determined to have some tacos & I knew the place had to have been cleaned by now.....NOT....if you can imagine it getting worse just take the events of the previous two visits & multiply them then you get an idea of how dirty it still was. Nothing had changed in the restrooms....still no hourly check sheets for anyone to take responsibility for making sure either one was clean (they weren't). The tables & floor in the dining area still appeared to have not been cleaned or swept possibly in days. I looked over the counter into the kitchen area & could barely even see the floor. Besides food it had letter size paper that looked like someone had just thrown it on the floor throughout that whole area.

I next saw in the kitchen a huge hazard & liability as if the apparent grease & food on the floor weren't enough. I saw two chairs squeezed into that area with females sitting back there talking & the place looked rather busy. As I was about to turn around & walk away I noticed two other females (actually working) making the food didn't have gloves on...then it happened...one of them wiped her face... pushed her hair back out of her face...then went right back to the taco she was making without a beat! I almost lost it right then & ran out as quickly as I could.

Where is the district manager as it appears the managers don't care? Or does he only come here once a quarter! He has to know about this place. If he doesn't is he doing his job? The store on S. Pkwy doesn't have these problems. I say get new people in here who have pride in their work or...

Customer service has horrible. Went inside to order and had to repeat the order 3 times because the cashier Kathleen kept interrupting me as well as was distracted by people in the back of house. also had to verify twice after I ordered that I wanted nachos and cheese not nacho fries. And then she tells a customer waiting that this place is driving her crazy and that she has to find a new job because they are cutting her hours. Had to wait over 15 minutes for 3 tacos, a simple burrito, and an order of nachos and cheese. When I finally did receive my order it was wrong. I then told Kathleen I wanted to speak with the manager she asked what was wrong I again stated I wanted to speak with the manager. She again asked what was wrong and I told her my order was incorrect. She called back to the back for an order of nachos and cheese. But still made no move to get the manager. I then called back into the restaurant loudly stating that I would like to speak to the manager. Kathleen stated that he was in the back making food, and I told her that he could come up to the front. Another crew member then came up to the front with the rest of my order, and I also told that crew member I wanted to speak with the manager After several more minutes and he still never came to the front, I then asked Kathleen what the manager's name was. She told me Jerrard? And Only then did he come to the front. I explained the whole situation to him, and told him I didn't understand why it took 15 minutes to make 3 tacos, a burrito and an order of nachos and cheese And then the order still be incorrect. He never apologized, was rude and said "well we are doing orders for here and drive thru and we are short staffed" I then asked him if he was the general manager, or the manager on duty. And he refused to answer me. I then asked him again are you the manager on duty or the general manager. He finally responded that he was the manager on duty and then walked away. Will never eat here again and will be filling a complaint...

Dont come here unless you want to be threatened to have the police called on you for looking at the menu!!! Their drive thru was down and they told us to come inside. We have 4 kids, 3 of which were asleep. Our kid that was awake wanted to look at the menu so my husband could go inside and order without having to drag everyone out of the car. They kept telling us we would have to come inside and we kept informing them of our situation. But they didnt care, they were more concerned about their "drive thru time" than they were of the conveniene and satisfaction of thecustomer. This was our 2nd time coming here this morning for breakfast. The first time they told us they were getting a late start and to come back. So we did. Then when we wanted to spend a few minutes looking at the menu, they threaten to call the cops because we didnt move up. Absolutely insane!!! We have never been treated so poorly-ANYWHERE!!! I still cant believe this even happened. 8/12/23 at 9:57. Corporate will be hearing about this for sure. On top of the drama about looking at the menu, our kid had to hear these idiots threaten my husband like that. Absolutely unacceptable customer service ALL BECAUSE WE WANTED TO LOOK AT THE MENU!!!!!
