I read the reviews of this and the other local Wendy’s and they are very bad. They also match my experiences with them in the past. I stopped eating at Wendy’s about three years ago because of the terrible service, cold food, incorrect order, and dirty dining areas; which are the same complaints reflected in the reviews. Cool weather had come and I really wanted some Wendy’s Chili (Wendy’s used to be one of my favorite fast food restaurants), so I took a gamble and went to get some Chili and frostys for the kids. It was nighttime and the outside signage was not on which was not encouraging. However, the staff were all very friendly and polite, there was almost no wait (less than a minute), and the food was very fresh. The chili was hot and tasted like it used to years ago. The frostys were good and not messy or dripped all over the outside of cup. I will have to go back to this location and see if this is consistent and change rating to 4 stars if it is. I also noted there were at least 4 employees working. A lot of these businesses are staffing with 2-3 employees and I think that is one reason quality has nosedived across the board. It’s not because of COVID, or they can’t get anyone to work either, those are just excuses they give to the public to cover up the fact they are greedy and don’t want to pay for the adequate staffing levels and don’t care if there employees are overwhelmed and don’t care that it results in the customer getting outrageously poor service and product. First mistake they are rude.. since I have three orders I was going to go in, but both doors are locked with customers inside eating. I go through the drive-through tell them I have three orders. They will only allow two but again your doors are locked. While I’m ordering the dude will not even let me get the order out of my mouth without constantly saying is that all is there anything else will this complete your first order? My order will be complete when I stop talking. When the waitress came, she scanned the code and asked what I wanted. I told her the Baconator, buy one get one for a dollar. She then asked me how many meat patties, I said whatever comes on the Baconator. She asked if I wanted, one, two, three, or four patties. I looked at the menu on the wall and said I want the Baconator. She again asked how many patties. I said I want the one on the menu. The only Baconator on the menu! When we got the order and started eating.i was thinking this is a small burger for a PREMIUM sandwich. It had one meat pattie and three short strips of paper thin bacon, mayo, and pickles. When I got home I looked on Wendy's website, the standard Baconator is advertised as two meat patties and six strips of bacon. I decided to go to the Wendy's website to file a complaint.
