There are many complaints I have from one visit to this McDonald's and they are as follows. First, In the Drive-through while ordering my food, the lady kept talking over me asking, "okay. Is that all?" "Okay. Is that all?" "Will that be all for you?" After every item. We had two orders for the car which came out to a total of twelve items for four people in the car (three adults, one child). She was, otherwise, kind and patient. Second, Upon receiving our drinks for the first order, She handed me a large sweet tea when I had ordered a large lemonade and small tea. When I told her so, she handed to me a medium frappe, for the second order, that was not filled to the line required to fulfill the duties of being a medium and not a small (two of my friends in the vehicle work for McDonald's). I brought this up to the lady and she responded with, "that's a medium." We were not trying to be finicky, but it was probably an inch under the line- which is a fair amount of missing frozen beverage. She handed me a small tea (I still had the large one, so this was unnecessary. I'll keep the large tea, if you don't care. I just want my darn lemonade) and tells me "the lemonade isn't working, what else do you want?" She said this while looking at the wall, not me. I ask her what else she has to drink, as I do not usually buy from McDonald's. She rattles off the beverages in an absurdly fast and mumbled manner, While I stare at her and try to process any of the jargon. "I'm sorry. Do you have Dr. Pepper?" "Nope." "Oh... I guess... Just Coke than. Thank you." She turns away from the window. At some point she hands us the remainder of the drinks (my coke and one other beverage). Third : Receiving the actual flippin' food. We asked for ranch and ketchup while ordering (I'm not counting these in the total number of items). When we received our two food bags, my friend checked them and told me they were missing the sauces. I looked to the lady in the window and said, "can we have ketchup and ranch please?" She walks away, and hands me two cups of ranch AND A FOUR PIECE NUGGET BOX THAT HAS BEEN FILLED WITH KETCHUP. "Thanks..." and I drive away. Everyone is inspecting their food at this point. Fourth and Finally: Knowing the standards when you have worked for the same establishment. Maybe our standards shouldn't have been so high, but I figured being close to Cedar Point, this place would have pretty decent business, and in turn be pretty decent (What a naïve thing to believe). The child's cheese burger was dripping, And I do mean dripping, With ketchup. She needed many napkins (she's a neat and tidy twelve year old). My friend in the backseat (recently quit working for McDonald's) was so repulsed, He offered her one of his burgers instead, But she's a trooper and just ate it. Though, A few bites in she used more napkins TO WIPE OFF THE IMMENSE AMOUNT OF SAUCE FROM THE ACTUAL BURGER. My friend in the front (current employee of a different McDonald's) had a sandwich with some fancy (artisan?) bun. It was supposed to have crispy onions, But it did not. Both of them said the fries were old. I'm glad we don't live near this McDonald's and I am never...
Read moreMy family and I waited for 5 minutes at the counter, no one even so much as looked at us. Finally a customer walked up from a table nearby and told us "they won't acknowledge you, you have to use the kiosk" she said as she pointed at the touch screen self order kiosk. So after another minute or two of talking it over with my wife in disbelief we agreed that no one was coming to take our order. So we went to the kiosk, placed our order and a blank paper came out as our receipt, I walked up to the counter and caused a minor scene until the manager on duty was annoyed enough to turn and asked "can I help you with something?" I showed her the blank receipt and asked if she could print us a new receipt. She reluctantly walked over to a computer and as apparently annoyed as possible tried to reprint our receipt to no avail, during this time I explain how we had waited over 7 minutes at the counter before being forced to use the kiosk she said "I can't print your receipt, all I COULD do about the Wait is apologize" then she walked away. I assume that was her apology.. The level of service you get for around $10 a person or more at McDonald's is ridiculous and this experience is a wake up call to me, I am only condoning this sort of negative service by continuing to do business with this chain and I refuse to take further part in this travesty...
Read moreIf I could give a zero I would. I asked for the rude employee name but they wouldn’t give it to me. The older blond lady was really rude. 1. I don’t care about paying extra for ranch. But it doesn’t list it in the kiosk. Also she deliver are food and said it was unnecessary I asked for 6 ranches. Like ok keep that to your self 1. A second she continues to complains about how I can only have two and it’s hnnessary because it cost the company. I know for a fact that $1.25 cents isn’t costing them anything. Also as a 19 year old I am not kind then that lady shows how sad the world is. Second off I go up to pay for the extra. She starts talking bad about me right when I turn away to the other workers. Like I am right there. People like what they like and it’s unkind to make fun of others. She should get serious training on customer service as someone who has worked in retail for 3 years now and my main role is customer service . She was some older lady I wouldn’t have cared if she wasn’t so rude. I go to the Sandusky McDonalds we’re I can get 6 ranches like I did yesterday and not be judged by a rude employee. Food...
