Let me preface this with I hope Tokyo stays here, but I also hope they improve.
I only have a comparison to the Tokyo in Mitchell, which I think pretty highly of. Here, No soup/salad with many things you usually get it with in Mitchell. The cuts of sashimi are a more rotund and cubed rather than what we're used to and different than any slice of sashimi I've ever had. Also sashimi served on yellowing iceburg lettuce isn't a good look. We came out on opening night which was asking for punishment, the wait was 2 hours and very low staffed. We went a week after and that wait was alleviated, still lots of tables but no staff to run them. Bar would be cool if it was walk in sit down style to avoid the wait if you wanted a drink or even eat @ the bar. Also missing a lot of eel options that are elsewhere. The dining overall experience in Huron Tokyo is lackluster compared to Mitchell. I'm not trying to gripe about it but I believe some honest criticism can improve a lot of things for this restaurant to be even better and stick around.
1/17/2025 Update: It has improved a lot since it's opening. Easily one of our favorite places. They've done a good with service and food...

Did not order any rolls but almost all are either fried, filled with spicy fish (low grade cuts mixed with breadcrumbs), or use fake imitation crab as the main ingredient which are all ways of charging high prices for inexpensive...
