Dined here on a Wednesday, around 3pm.
Clean restaurant with good service. Quick and food came out hot.
Checked out a few of the specials which were half off, certain appetizers because it was “happy hour” and wings because it was Wednesday.
For appetizers we got the cheese bread and the fried pickles and banana peppers. The cheese bread and pizza dipping sauce it came with were terrific, the bread’s cook and seasoning were spot on. The fried pickles and banana peppers were amazing, made even better when dunked in the ranch they came with.
For entrees we got a chili cheese fry burger with French fries, the fish sammy (sandwich) with onion rings, wing it (12 bone in or boneless wings, and fries), and the fish and shrimp basket with onion rings.
Chili cheese fry burger and the fish sammy were both a hit with my granddaughters.
My wife really enjoyed the fish and shrimp basket.
The wings were good, but there’s a much better option a few miles away. Wings are at “market price” and I was overcharged for them. Server said price per wing was 1.64, but were half off; making them 0.82 per wing. Paid 1.08 a wing. Bone in wings were much smaller than the aforementioned better option, and the other shop charges around 1.00 a wing. The cook on the wings was average, worth eating but not seeking out. Great sauce options for the wings.
Only minor annoyance was being corrected on how to pronounce gochujang by the server. We were getting six wings with one sauce and six with another, as I asked my wife if she wanted gochujang sauce on half the server talked over me saying I was pronouncing it wrong and then said it’s good and tastes like general Tsao’s (it doesn’t). Could have done without learning how to mispronounce gochujang. Wasn’t a big deal, aside from that minor thing she was awesome. Carolina reaper sauce was minimally spicy, it needed a lot more heat to be called Carolina reaper sauce (probably hot if jalapeño is your personal limit of hot, not hot if your hot is habanero or hotter). Gochujang was super good, wish other shops offered the same; it had a tangy spicy kick without the taste of vinegar which is all too common in mass produced hot sauces.
Fries were incredible, some of the best we’ve had. Eat them while they’re hot, brought a few home because we got so full; they weren’t good cold.

Read moreAfter a second, visit I have decided to revise my original review as this visit was significantly worse. My girlfriends order was wrong twice (they did take it off the bill at the end), and the service was lackluster. We both had onion rings, but this time hers were cold instead of mine. So I guess there is consistency there.
My main problem is the lack of value for the money. I again ordered a burger and made the mistake of choosing my own toppings. In what universe is $1 for vegetable toppings and $2 on a small burger reasonable? I paid $4 on top of the base $8 for three pickles, a very thin shredded piece of onion, and a single Slice of cheese. That's $12 for a dry (still only well done) thin cheeseburger with 2 toppings. I have felt less ripped off eating at places in big cities and at airports. The cost cutting is more apparent by the ketchup rationing, only a small side cup per order.
Original review: Burger was pretty good. However, it was disappointing that I wasn't given a choice for temperature. Given the price, it would be nice to have it less than well done. My fries came out cold and slightly cardboard like. Luckily my girlfriends fries were hot so we just split hers. Maybe it was an off night, but it didn't seem...
