10 out of 10 would HIGHLY recommend. Huge shout out to the Hutto Spice Route food truck. The food had me Oooo-ing and Aw-ing every bite. It was extremely flavorful. It didn't take too long for them to make the food and it was exceptional, just like going to a full on restaurant. The portions were awesome and it wasn't too expensive either. The spices were fantastic and the sauces were exactly what you crave. The service was exceptional, and you strike up a conversation with the owner and the cooks and it's like they're just your neighborhood, friendly business owners. We like to come to downtown Hutto because there's so many different food options for lunch and dinner. This one easily became one of our top favorites. If you're looking for a great meal, this is a perfect place. But if you want a full course with dessert, they've got it all. Also, although untraditional to the cuisine, they l had some loaded fries option, which was very l unique and different. I highly recommend everything on the menu. You won't go wrong with l anything. I’m bad at taking pictures, but here’s what we got: chicken shawarma & falafel on rice, chicken & lamb shawarma on rice, rose milk, can of soda, and dried fruit dessert.

Every bite and sip was perfection. And the portions were very generous. Couldn’t finish our meals (lucky because we have snacks for later). The dried fruit dessert is exactly what we like - not too sweet (no added sugar), great texture, and easy to eat. The rose milk was great - some rose flavored things are difficult to get right and can taste too floral. Not this drink! Right balance of flavors.

The gentleman working was extremely helpful and polite and made us feel welcome right away. We WILL be coming back and getting take out on our way home to Taylor. We’re so happy there are options for this type of flavor nearby. This may be our new favorite eating...

I can’t say enough great things about Hutto Spice Route! This Mediterranean food truck is an absolute treasure. Every dish I’ve tried has been packed with bold, authentic flavors that transport you straight to the Mediterranean. The wrap is perfectly seasoned, the Shawarma is creamy and fresh, and the Baklava is tasty to perfection. You can tell the ingredients are high-quality and made with love.

On top of the amazing food, the service is always friendly and welcoming. They’re fast, efficient, and take the time to make sure you’re happy with your order. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or dinner to-go, this food truck never disappoints.
