Gerardo's Bakery — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

I had ordered a tres leche cakes becuase I was recommended they were the best! I was very disappointed. I gave specific instructions of how I wanted it. Upon picking up the cake was no where near what I had requested. I told the cash register. She gave attitude. On the yellow paper had all that I wanted and i told her that they both did not match. She then said she could not do anything about it. No discount nothing!...

A old lady was very rude .... believe to be the owners wife ...trying to overcharge me for ojaldas..I always got them for 75cent each and in this place for years and she was like they are 1.25 each use to get 100 ojaldas for family partys.. and I ask why if I just order some one month ago she said cuz I say so and if you dont like it go somewhere else.... she's not the usual woman I see in the cash...

Found this place today. Gotta say, most of it was pretty tasty. But what blue me away was the Sweet Bread was absolutely outstanding!!!! I usually am disappointed by them. But this place makes amazing ones. Nice subtle flavor. Sweet, but not too sweet. But the texture of the bread is the real star! It was like eating a cloud. So light and fluffy. Will definitely...
