Really really good food, but it takes a little while for them to make it, so if you go on your lunch you might not make it back on time. . I love the food but what really keeps me from going, and giving it 5 stars, is customer service, three different times, in a row, 2 different waitresses had a really bad attitude and acted like they didn't want to serve the customers, even caught one rolling her eyes several times and she didn't care that I saw. . I don't like giving restaurants bad reviews unless I've given it more than 3 chances, I prefer the restaurant down the way La Casita, even though it's smaller, they have a bathroom, very Good food, and BETTER...

This small Mexican hide-away has a very tight not clientele as upon my first visit I observed that the owner greeted almost everyone by name. I ordered a carne en us jugo and can say that it was rather grainy and could actually use some watering down but it was pleasing to the tummy none the less. I also ordered the menudo and can confidently say that the menudo here is about the standard for when you can get in this part of the city, you won’t go wrong here. The food is always delicious and the feel here is way more personal than just any ordinary restaurant. TacoMex is owned by the man cooking the food, his wife and daughter alongside. They are some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. They treat you like they know you, and on a couple of occasions have even held my kids so that I could eat.
