Tacos Don "Memo" — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

Stopped in this place on a late night a couple of weeks ago. There was a really young girl at the counter, she wasn’t focused on talking to me and taking my order, I think she was more focused on closing since it was close to time for them to lock up. Eventually an older woman came over took over I asked about a combination fajita dinner with shrimp and chicken and the young lady told me no but the older woman told me yes. I used my card to make my purchase and they charge me a fee to use it without mentioning it. However, there is signage stating that they will charge your card a certain percentage on the pillar next to the cash register. The food is good from here. One day I phoned in an order which included tortas. When I went to pick up the lady thought I had said tostadas. I decided to keep them. It was a blessing in disguise! They are delicious! They use 2 shells instead of 1. The burritos, tacos, and tortas are fine. I like the chicken meat they use. It's seasoned similar to the pastor meat they have.

The only knock I have here is sometimes you do have to wait a bit on your order and at least once they did mess up my order, he he :-). And they do charge a little more than other places. Otherwise...

I just want to ask everyones opinion on this because I honestly don't know how I feel about the price, so 3 tacos (beef) 1 lemonade (med) price $19.53 (take out) do y'all think this is a reasonable price or what? 🤔 I personally believe it's a new owner because like about 1½ yrs ago the prices wasn't that high and there was a different cook and a different cashier . The cook likes to talk over you and doesn't care to listen to what the customer says I seen but I dnt argue I just noticed like he's in his own world and likes to say I just work...
