Roseland Pizza & Tacos — Restaurant in Hyde Park Township

I was a very loyal customer to this place for years until this happened. I would order take out pizza and other items from them. It would take longer than usual and the toppings were scarce, but the flavor was good considering the area. They recently moved to their current location from a few blocks east. I decide to make sure it was the same owner so I go and order a slice. Sure enough they were because I asked, I even informed them that I was a regular from their previous location. Cool, I get my slice and leave. I go home and try to eat this thing. First, I can't believe they served this. I took one bite and it was horrible of course. I'm upset but not mad, I really had my heart set on this slice of pizza, so I take it back. This is where things get weird. There are a few other customers in there so I didn't want to cause a scene. Like I said , the food isn't that bad considering..... So I just walk up to the counter and show her the slice. She was the manager I guess, she gets mad and yells at someone in the back. She proceeded to give me a refund, I told her all I really wanted was a replacement slice, she wasn't really listening to me and then she reprimanded me for not checking my slice. While out shopping, I came across this family owned pizza place ran by a loving husband and wife duo, their so kind and understanding seeing them banter while cooking feels like watching a sitcom.

I've ordered pizzas from them, but boy are the pizzas worth it. Hand tossed and made and nothing beats biting into a freshly got pizza, compared to the typical company owned pizzas like Pizza Hut, Dimenos and Papa Johns.

Their pizzas are all natural, made with fresh ingredients and hand made to perfection.

I ordered a small pizza to try it out, and after the first bite I immediately ordered a large to take home with me. What they lack in atmosphere, they truly make up for in food and service.

I have order food multiple times from this resturants and never had a problem until this heavy set lady thats gives the food has been consitantly giving me a problem with my food i ordered a 10 piece wing and i only got 8 pieces that is just un right i want what i paid for and today i order a 10 piece chicken strip and got these little pieces of strip im a paying customer and i don't think i want to order from here anymore jus because one the heavy set lady that works in the front she has very poor customer service skills she told me over the phone if i dont like what i ordered then dont order it and i will make sure that i will not send this resturant any business from my church in the neightbrhood and my family in the...
