Came across this place after finding out the hard way that the restaurant on 71st and king drive was closed earlier than their listed hours. Guy at the window was nice. I ordered the double turkey burger. For the price you can’t beat it. Come with a decent amount of fries and toppings on the burger. I arrived at 230am and ordered and they closed their doors behind me which I thought was messed up because they hours listed on google were till 3am. Nonetheless I got the food home and was amazed that the patties were not processed and full of flavor and seasoning. The fries were cooked crispy without me having to ask and the food portion was substantial. It is clean on the inside, not located in the best of areas but not life threatening either. I saw someone’s post that said there was better places around to eat and that isn’t true. This area is a food desert. Not a lot places sell turkey products just gyros and subs. I highly recommend this place over a lot of other familiar places in the city and I will definitely return to utilize their service. Plus they take credit card. They also do not have juice as part of their beverage selection if your order comes with a drink only can pop. Just ask for the...
Read more2.5 stars for the ITALIAN BEEF, I've never had any other items off the menu so this review is only for the beef. Someone off FB recommended I try they beef so I did. It was not tasty, it had potential. I like well dipped beefs with hot peppers. This beef reminded me of like a Philly cheese steak like why y'all put my beef on the grill😭 maybe they didn't buy it tasted like it. The bread was thick not like a light fluffy dipped good Italian beef bread🤣 it was more like a sticky sandwich off the grill. Maybe some people somewhere in Chicago like they need that way but I'll pass. Hope this helps someone who is a beef connoisseur like myself. Don't do it, you will not be satisfied, try a different item on the menu stick to your regular beef spot! Also this place is the brightest thing in the community I mean the area it's located in is more dim but this spot you cant miss it's bright white and yellow, I think lol, also the cashier was really nice she did however charge me for an entire extra meal which I gotta admit I didn't look at my recept. she caught the mistake and returned my money once I came back in store to pick up my food. So check y'all's receipts because every...
Read moreFood was ok, but just ok. Nothing special. Food tasted all Sysco bland out of a can or plastic, pre-frozen packaging type, nothing homemade, much better places to eat around the area that have some Flavor. Also the owner is somewhat nutso, very rude with no customer service skills. After spending $30 in his restaurant which has zero seating, went out to my car which was parked out of the way and not blocking anything to spend 10 minutes eating my sandwich in my car. This was at 2 pm and the lot was empty. About 7 minutes into eating my sandwich Out of no where this crazy middle eastern man comes running out the back door of the restaurant right up to my car and starts banging on my window, tells me there is no eating in my car on his lot and have to leave the lot immediately, and continued to be quite verbally abusive. I was shocked, as I was respectful and out of the way, quiet (no stereo or engine running). Well, that will be my last time placing any orders there. Owner was not very smart, I recently moved my office into the area with many employees that I could have recommended his restaurant instead will reccomend other more customer friendly restaurants...
