Initially we were told that they couldnāt calibrate the vehicle because it had a defect that required warranty work. Took it to the dealership only to be told that when they replaced the windshield they stripped some wires and when putting the new windshield in they shorted out a few components which resulted in our heating elements, lane departure, front camera and some others components not to function. I was told that it was that way when it was brought in and they had the pre scan to prove it. I have information from the dealership to prove otherwise. Pre scan was done almost one hour after they started working on the windshield and post scan was about a half an hour after that. The car was in their shop for an hour and a half. I was told by the owner that the dealership must have caused the damage. After reviewing the cameras with Karalee it was determined that no pre-scan was completed when the vehicle arrived so Iām not sure when the first āpre-scanāhappened or how they managed to fabricate the records. After one week with the dealership, robinson finally agreed to pay for the repairs. The repairs were completed around two and a half weeks and then payment was received 3 weeks after they caused the damage from a simple windshield replacement. Although I appreciate that they paid for the repairs, we had to continually call them to make sure it got paid since we couldnāt pick up the car until it was paid for. As I got there to pick up my car I could here them in the garage racing the engine. When I inquired as to what the purpose was I was told the battery was dead and it was flooding. They then pushed my car into the parking lot and everyone left to enjoy their evening. im not not mechanically inclined in any way as I had to phone a friend for instructions on how to jump. All it took was a jump. Dont know what they did or tried to do to the car. Have never had battery problems in the past or since. It has glass and probably a few less miles on the engine.
