The food is mostly good, the sticky rice dessert is phenomenal, and the woman who runs the truck is really kind and you can tell she takes pride in the quality of the food she serves. However, the kid who works with her (I assume it is her middle-school aged daughter) is incredibly rude! We've been here maybe 4 times, and the girl is always rude, like she just can't stand to be there, but tonight was the worst we've seen her and we won't be going back. Two different families showed up tonight while we were waiting for our food, and neither family was able to place an order because there wasn't anyone available at the open ordering window. Both families checked around the side of the truck, and then came away after not being able to get anyone's attention. Both of these families ended up leaving without ordering anything. All along, the girl who works there was waiting by oneof the other food trucks, just watching them. After they left, she came meandering over and went back to where her mother was working. A bit later, another guy showed up, and he did the same thing - tried to get the attention of someone via the main ordering window, then went around to the side, only to come back looking confused. My husband put his window down and told the guy he had to knock on the side door and wait a bit, as this is what we had to do when we placed our order. The guy thanked us and mentioned they should have a sign or something if they're going to be 'open' but otherwise completely unavailable. The daughter of the owner eventually brings out our food and says, 'Here's your food.' My husband then said to her, 'Thanks! Oh, and by the way, just so you guys know - you have great food, but a couple families came by earlier and left because they didn't think you were still open. Maybe you guys could put up a sign telling people you'll be right back or to order from the side door so they don't go away thinking you are closed." He said it in his normal friendly tone and this kid looks at him with a horrible attitude and said, "Well I was HANDLING someone ELSE." And then she just walked away. I would never hire someone with an attitude like that and we will never support this business again because they do not value their customers at all. Even if you're swamped (which they were not - we were the only order they took during the 25 minutes we were there, save for the guy who would've left if it hadn't been for my husband) you should still put up a sign or something saying you'll be away for a bit or you're pre-occupied at the moment, rather than just having people leave empty handed, frustrated, and confused after waiting and waiting for someone to come take their order when the person who takes the orders is just standing in the background watching them - it's very rude and inconsiderate and I don't think the owner realizes how much business she is losing due this kid's bad attitude and general lack of concern for the business and...
Read moreI write this review while snacking on leftovers from our food purchase yesterday, and I am so throughly pleased to have found this absolute gem. Hands downs the best Thai food I have had in Idaho. The menu is pretty extensive for a food truck, and everything is made fresh to order. We ordered a large volume, so I knew it would be a little bit of a wait, and WOW was I amazed how much food the owner was able to pump out in an hour! She mentioned that she has a friend coming to help her cook starting soon since her volume has increased, but keep in mind that she is just one person running this operation when you order! The pad Thai was incredible. I’m still drooling over the dumpling soup! The mango sticky rice was the best I have ever had! How she managed to get suck perfectly ripe mangoes in Idaho in February is a miracle. The iced tea with boba was perfectly sweet, and the boba were cooked to perfection. Honorable mentions to the potstickers, the pad kee mao, the pad ga prow, the iced coffee, and the taro boba. The portions were huge, too! The owner was so sweet and attentive and even brought us more utensils to eat with when she saw us dishing up our kids in the car 😂 I’m already so...
Read moreThis is the most authentic Thai food I have ever had in Eastern Idaho and better than most I have had in Utah. Every dish we got was awesome! The panang curry, larb, pad thai, and spring rolls were amazing! Huge portions of food at very reasonable prices. The taro, watermelon and honeydew smoothies with boba were incredible and the mangoes and sticky rice were delicious! The owner is super cool to talk to and she is native Thai so her food is beyond legit! I will definitely be back very often. When you show up to this cool little trailer things might be a little confusing because the order window appears to be 8 feet off the ground. No need to order through that window because the owner actually comes out and takes the order from you out in front of the trailer. You can also ask for a takeout menu so you can look through the menu much easier and see all the varieties of food as there are a significant amount of options. You might have to wait a bit as this is real Thai food and not all pre-prepped and warmed up but it is more than worth the wait. Even though it is a food truck there are plenty of picnic tables around whether you choose to sit in the sun or the shade....
