Burger King — Restaurant in Illinois

This place doesn't even deserve the 1 star I have to give it because oh my god, this is awful.

I was in my friend's car with my young nephew and we came to this Burger King location because it was the first place we saw and so we went. We went to the drive thru and we were debating on what to order, and the lady in the drive thru had an attitude that gives me the impression that she wants us to hurry up despite that we were the only ones there. We waited for 5 minutes to even get our orders and the lady had a bad attitude towards us. And this is what we ordered. Chicken fries with medium fries and medium Dr. Pepper. Small chicken sandwich with no lettuce or mayo and extra cheese, small fries and a small Coke. And Double Stacker King with small fries and small Coke. All the drinks were Dr. Pepper despite two of them being Coke, fries tasted like they in oil for 4 days and had no salt, and the Double Stacker looked like it was put together like Legos, the cheese looked old and underseasoned, and the bacon was overcooked. After reading the reviews, my son and I thought, lets give em a shot. We hadnt had BK in a while and had to stay close to the Hospital. 1st impression walking in, buildings falling apart. Smashed bricks all along the front entrance window. Cashier was friendly. Placed my order and went to their fancy coke machine to get my drink. No coke. 10 or so different coke flavors and none available. So had to get a root beer. Touch screen was nasty. Went to find a table and not one table was clean. About 20 little ketchup cups on the counter and no ketchup in sight. I unwrap my burger and no bacon on it. The cashier asked the guy in the back to put some bacon on it. I know some of you might think, if you read the reviews, why did you go there?? Some of those reviews are over 5 years old. I felt maybe theyve cleaned up their act. Not so. Its just crazy that these places can run for so long and not be shut down because its burger king and not a small mom and pop...

I ordered my meal with issues. The cashier did not understand my order and forgot to charge me. So I ended up charger 3 times, with order 69, 68 and 71 for my entire meal. Whatever. I get over that. But as I stood there, I watched the team member who was about to prepare my food. He was on his phone the whole time i was ordering and once the order came in, he started grabbing the bread and meat and nuggets with his bare hands. He didn’t wash his hands after touching his phone. He had the food ready to go and went to the back for something. At this point, I told the manager that he was touching the food with his dirty hands. Then he put on his gloves when he heard me complain and the manager talked to him.
