Loved the interior of this coffee shop! I know not everyone is a fan, but I loved the unique and comfy furniture, the smaller tables, and the pictures they had in on the wall drawn by children. They also had some outdoor seating which is where we would’ve sat if the tables were open.
I got an iced coffee with cream (something simple) and my husband just got a cappuccino. If we didn’t have early lunch plans, I would’ve loved to try one of their breakfast sandwiches! They had such a large menu with plenty of variety. Even after we came in, they were pretty busy the entire way through. The spot where people order and pickup could be a little crowded at times, but I can understand why!
I believe I even heard someone order a milkshake at 10am in the morning? They really do cater to most mornings cravings! And they did have a small selection of pastries or snacks which I noticed was popular with the kids coming in. A very family...
Read moreElijah's Coffee House is a true local gem that I frequently visit. What keeps me coming back, besides the convenient location, are the fantastic workers. Most of the staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely great, making each visit feel welcoming. The ambiance here can be quite pleasant, perfect for a quiet coffee and some work. However, it sometimes gets a bit loud, depending on the music choices and the volume of conversation, which can be a minor disruption. As for the offerings, the food and beverages are, for the most part, consistently good. There have been a few minor hiccups with orders, but I truly appreciate that any issues are usually fixed or adjusted without a fuss. This willingness to correct things makes a big difference. Despite the occasional noise, Elijah's remains a cherished local spot, and I highly recommend stopping by for a delightful...
Read moreOutside seating was super comfortable. Lots.of tables to choose from. Art work from local artists for sale were hung on all the walls. A Gallery wall of student art work from a local elementary school on the back wall near the bathroom added even more color and personality to this already quirky cafe. Staff attended to people in line with efficiency but did not seem to go out of their way to be enthusiastic or super friendly with customers. Not a biggie but seemed like it could have helped since there were a lot of parents with kids who could have used some kindness. Regardless, this cafe was quiet and comfortable. Good atmosphere for working or reading. Many people however grabbed their coffees and left right away. Lots of foot traffic and little interaction between the staff and customers basically.... Parking can be in the diagonal parking lot...
