I’ll just tell you about my experience there this evening and you can make your own decisions. While playing pool and listening to music, we all noticed the table next to us get a huge order of nachos. I thought I’d order some to go. I was told by a regular that was with the group, not to order the large but instead to order the half because they will only give you what will fit in the styrofoam go tray. I figured that couldn’t be true if I ordered the large, so I asked the server. She assured me that the large order would come in TWO styrofoam go boxes so I ordered the large. When my order was ready, just like the regular customer had said, it came in only one box. I voiced my concern with the server and she said she’d go back and argue on my behalf because it was obvious that the large that we all saw and inquired about could not possibly fit in one box. She returned with an additional box of chips only stating the cook told her the first box contained the full amount of the toppings as the large but just not as many chips. That was a lie. But if that was true, then why wasn’t the additional chips given with the order to begin with? This was absolutely unacceptable, especially since I asked before ordering about the size of the to go order. Very dishonest business practice. I hope this helps someone else, so they don’t get...
Read moreI have never had a more worse experience anywhere in my life. First off, I try to pay for an hour each of pool for the men, then get yelled at for stepping outside to smoke a cigarette. This is due to a new rule of no smoking inside. I was made to feel like I was going to walk out on my bill. Mind you we had already paid in full $11 for food and $40 for alcohol. And I attempted to prepay for that hour of pool for each of these guys twice before this Then, apparently the new rule of thumb is it they have to clear all of the alcohol off the floor by 1:30am. This meaning literally no more alcohol to even drink not just not purchase. We weren't explain this rule of thumb clearly and due to that fact we wasted 3 beers by this man just throwing it away. Which is half the bucket. If we were told about this rule of thumb we would have drank alcohol before the 1:30 cutoff but we thought that we just couldn't buy any more alcohol after the 1:30 cutoff like anywhere else in the USA. Trust me, I will be contacting the owner in the morning about this. We weren't rude or disrespectful in any way shape or form there was no reason for that treatment. I was being harassed by a man that I vaguly knew from my past that was up at the bar, but I did not reciprocate...
Read moreI have not had the food but I love going into the add on where they have the pool tables etc. There doesn't seem to be a set time of when the place opens. I thought I finally got a straight answer a couple weeks ago from a really nice bartender who unlocked the door to the back. I was told 9:30. I tried to go in today at 9:58 AM and asked if I was able to go in the back the gal behind the bar said no it's not open. I asked "seriously? What time will it be open?" She says "4ish". I was shocked. Then she says "sorry, were not open 24/7" but the sign on the front of the building says pool hall open 24/7. And it's 10AM u don't need to open 24/7 to be open at this time. And how come in the last couples weeks to the past month has every other person that's been there when I stopped been ok with unlocking it? It had been locked the last 3 or 4 times I stopped in and just asked whoever was there if I could go back and they would happily unlock the door. I drive about 45minutes to get to Barnhart and today I waisted time close by waiting for this place to open, only to be told I have to wait another 6hours but maybe more. She didnt seem sure when she stated it would open about 4ish. Management needs to clarify hours. Just a sign on the door would be...
