Ordered Pad Thai and Garlic Fried Rice both with chicken and hot and sour soup.
Normally I get drunken noodle but hate when I see it made with bamboo and other stuff. Just preference. I just like it with the noodle thin sliced bell pepper egg and basil and thick noodles. So I didn’t order it.
The garlic fried rice was great and typical.
The Pad Thai was okay. The noodles or sauce seemed starchy. Like they didn’t cool and rinse the noodles well or added something? I may order again to see if it was a fluke thing. Wasn’t horrible but worse than a few places for a basic common dish.
The soup wasn’t as good at all. Way too thick and corn starchy. I like my broth a nice brown color, a little thinner, with egg in it too. This was super thick and chicken stock colored. Won’t order the soup unless...
Read moreOrdered the pineapple fried rice with tofu and no egg, mild spice. Some quick pros and cons from a first-time experience: Pros: Order was correct Decent flavor and spice Good portion
Cons: Double the wait vs a different Thai restaurant Tastes similar to cheap Chinese take out rice (not very fresh) Very small veggies & tofu, not much substance No cashews (this is more personal, most Thai restaurants put cashews in their pineapple fried rice)
The food is pretty good for the price, but I'd probably stick with my go-to take out thai place next time. Obviously I can't speak for the other dishes they serve (which may be better than fried rice.) But this is just my...
Read moreThe wait can be pretty long, usually about 40 minutes. But even if you get there after its ready and have a 15 minute ride home it is steaming hot. So hot you have to wait to eat it. I get the Curry Pad Thai with tofu every time. I've tried other dishes but personally prefer noodles over rice. I like mine medium, anything less simply doesn't taste as good. My husband and I will fight if we don't get our own so we have to get 2 orders. They're meat isn't too good, but they're shrimp isn't bad. The crab delight is good. I definitely recommend this place. I haven't tried too many thai places in the area. I haven't felt I've needed to after I...
