Del Rio — Restaurant in Independence

Service: The service didn't start off great. I think we stood up front for a solid 5+ minutes before we were acknowledged even though staff was within 3ft of us at least a dozen different times. Honestly started to think we were supposed to seat ourselves, got kinda awkward... once we were eventually seated, our server did a fine job. She was very nice, answered questions related to food items as my girlfriend is a vegetarian (even made a trip to the kitchen to be 100% sure she was correct). The chips/salsa did sit empty at the edge of the table for a solid 10 minutes before we ended up having to ask for more. She was busy though and was quick to get it once we did ask.

Food: The food itself was mediocre... salsa was basically tomato water but honestly it didn't taste too bad. The beans were cold and closer to soup consistency than refried beans. The Chiminchanga was ok, meat had good flavor, shell was much thinner than I've ever had but wasn't horrible. The enchilada meat was decent as well, the red sauce 100% comes from a can and therefore sucked. Rice was trash.

Atmosphere: not too bad, music was a little loud for me but the table full of drunk ladies across from us was much louder. Not the restaurant's fault, can't hold it against em. Table wasn't very clean and wobbled like hell. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves but heard people near us complaining about their table as well and watched a couple stand next to a table for a few minutes, waiting for someone to clean it off before...

Would give a zero if possible! Went in tonight showed up a little before 7, ordered, didn't get our food til almost 7:45. Waitress never came and told us how long it would be for our food...had to stop her and ask! Then my food came the beans were piss warm and I was dining with someone else who's food didn't come at the same time. His finally came 5 minutes later and it was wrong as he didn't like onions and asked for none...it came with them. Was supposed to have tomatoes and no tomatoes. So had to wait for the waitress to walk by and had to stop her again! At this point I just want to leave, then the owner comes and asked what he ordered and about that time the new good showed up. No onions, but again no tomatoes. I said just give us the check we are dine the owner threw his hands up and said "why don't you...

First the person seating us complained because we were a group of 6. Then he went on to tell us how hungry he was. After seating us it took 20 minutes before they got us our drinks and didn't get them right. Then it took another 20 minutes before they took our orders. Another 30 minutes before they started to bring our food in increments. They brought out 3 side plates but not the main dishes. Then brought out the wrong people's food. It was another 15 minutes before we saw main dishes and yet everyone still didn't have thier food. One member of our group ended up just getting a to go box because some of the group had already finished when they got thier food. All in all it took well over an hour to get everyone's food. Now, I have to say that we saw other people come and go during this time. And the food was...
