I own a right hand drive car , and after an unfortunate incident of a server dropping a drink in my passenger seat , causing a 450$ detailing and shampoo bill, I go in reverse so I can hand the money and be handed my purchase. I have went through the drive through hundreds of times , and well over 30 times at this particular location alone in reverse. It’s never been an issue, anywhere, at all….. until tonight.

Pulled up and turned around, as usual. Waited for the car ahead of me to finish ordering , and backed up to the box to order. Before I could even get ordered I was rudely approached by an older white man, and told i wouldn’t be served unless I turned around. I tried to explain myself , and was again forcefully told I wouldn’t be served. After a few choice words were exchanged between us, I decided it was best to leave to avoid more confrontation.

It’s never been an issue before , I get a laugh , the servers get a laugh, take a few pics of the car , etc. but after the way mr pocket protector treated me tonight , I’ll never be back. The food was good, but so long !!! It’s been a great 25 year run!! ...

I stopped by and decided to try this place for the first time. Stepping inside, the place feels like stepping into the 1980s. Everything from the seating to the style probably hasn’t changed much since then, but honestly, that’s kind of the charm.

I ordered the Hi-Boy burger combo with fries and a drink, and it came out really fast. The burger was decent, not amazing, but not bad either. They used a ketchup and mayo mix on it, which I actually really liked. Salsa rosada for those who know it.

The fries were great. Fresh, crispy, and tasted exactly how you want drive-in fries to taste, but the portion was really small. Definitely not enough for what they charge.

The whole meal cost $15.35, which felt high considering what I got. Especially when you think about the location, it’s one of the lowest income areas of the city, and this definitely isn’t budget-friendly food.

All in all, I’d call the experience decent, but nothing to go out of your way for. The food was okay, the fries were solid, and the atmosphere was kind of fun in a dated way. But for over fifteen bucks, I expected a...

So I have been coming here since I was a kid- and its one of those places every once in a while you just "have" to have... BUT the staff is so rude,, we have a big family and order like 8 burgers and sides for all- Best onion rings ever btw- so they offer a online coupon buy one get one with 2 sides for free,, but refuse to let anyone use a secondary coupon.. even if I place separate orders - I mean I am not trying to do 4 orders or be crazy,, and being told NO isnt the problem as much as they way the staff treats people and their reasoning - super hateful and snotty- like a 17 year old Karen... treating a grown adult like a child- really got me when they said so you want it for full price or not then closed the window in my face comes back with the bags, are you ready to pay.. if I didn't drive 35 mins to fulfill my craving little girl,, any how this past time food was not the quality, it was dry and O rings were very greasy and smashed like they cooked 10 orders in a small basket and they were stuck together in a ball- just not...
