Paleteria El Chavo del 8 — Restaurant in Independence

This place has definitely went downhill. I spend good money here, at least $100 a week and can NEVER get enough sauce for my tacos. I have to call and beg them to put it in my bag.

Today, March 23rd I called to talk to Rosanne. wasn't getting anywhere with her so I asked to speak with a manager and she didn't speak English so I had to deal with Rosanne She agreed to finally give me 8 sauces for 15 tacos. When I received my order I was short 2 tacos and 2 sauces. All the guacamole sauces were spoiled. They even was bubbled on the lid. When I opened it it even smells spoiled. My son ate his before I sat down. Hopefully he doesn't get sick off their negligence. I will not spend another dime at this place until I'm appreciated as a customer 🤬🤬🤬🤬.

Update: I called the restaurant to let Rosanne know about her spoiled Guacamole sauce and she told me it's door dash fault and to take it up with them and hung up in my face. Poor...

I went Saturday afternoon around 7pm for some ice cream . I stood in line and patiently waited. The lady working the counter look me up and down and skip me. Took the person behind me. I didn’t say anything because honestly I mentally didn’t want to argue so I waited for them to take my order next. After they took my order they gave me a number and told me once my order was ready they will call that number. They were calling numbers that has arrived after us. So I stood up and ask what was taking so long since it was just 3 ice creams. She then told me that they were working on it. After a while they had my 3 ice creams but just on their own. They had asked if it was a to go order and I had mentioned that yes it was to go. I had seen with another customer, They had put the ice creams in a drink tray in a bag. They did not do that with my order. They were very mean girl type of energy. Felt...

ordered elite corn on the cob. corn was dry and old, not juicy at all. also ordered a scoop of ice cream costing 5.95, very expensive considering the don’t even fill the cup, it’s a very small scoop. my daughter got a scoop as well but they gave her the wrong one, she asked to try the strawberry the lady just started scooping it so she just took it. the lady worker acted if she didn’t understand what we asked but she took our order we spoke english but when we got to the ice cream she didn’t understand. definitely won’t be back. daughter also ordered extra guacamole, (2.50) didn’t give it to her, proof was on the receipt, gave her a hard time, didn’t want to give her what she paid for then eventually gave us the guacamole in a sauce cup. i said wow for 2.50. yea y’all can have this place. my money won’t...
