I've Never Had To Send An Order Back Because It Wasn't Cooked The Way I Like It Either, & They Have Your Choice Of Already Sweet Or Unsweetened Tea, So You Don't Have To Put A Pound Of Sugar In Unsweetened Tea & Keep Stirring It To Have Sweet Tea! They Have Very Generous Servings & Very Top Quality Suppliers For Their Food!!! If You Have Ever Ate At The Original Betty's Fried Chicken On 40 Hwy. In Blue Springs, Or PT's Resturant In Oak Grove, Or Richard's Cafe On 291 Hwy. & 24 Hwy. In Independence, The Portions & Quality Of Service & Food Is Very Comparable @ Englewood Cafe On Winner Road In The Englewood Shopping District In Independence, Missouri!!! The food was great...However I've had 2 bad experiences w/the help...my first time ever in there we sat down & waited in the meantime 2 white men come in set across from our table were waited on 1st w/out being asked who was first the waitress just assumed they were 1st...however she did clean it up & bought our food out first only after she overheard us speak on the matter...So the following day I go back for a take out order...I'm getting these same RACIST VIBES I bring in my SERVICE DOG w/vest on too...2 waitress harass me about proving she's one which is against the ADA LAW...however a regular customer comes In daily w/a husky dog that's supposed to be a SERVICE DOG too but the man is White & his dog didn't even have a Vest on which is optional anyways but as we're sitting outside waiting on my order his DOG consistently barks at mine which is well trained & ignores the dog as most SERVICE dogs do ....so personally his wasn't one by the way he acted...the waitress keep going back & forth w/me until I finally said I'd sue the establishment I know my rights...my whole family consists of Lawyers & 2 federal judges as well so I do know...

My husband and five yr old daughter went there today for a late breakfast. The servers were yelling across the room about personal business. We waited about 45 min for our food only to have my husbands steak like rubber, biscuits were like day old dinner rolls, not even a biscuit! My daughters blueberry pancakes had frozen blueberries and the pancake was batter in the middle, the gravy taste like glue! Toast wasn't even toasted and when it was all said and done the waitress was flippant and sarcastic about having to redo all of our plates, my husband ended up with 4 orders of burnt toast in front of him. My husband takes the plate of pancakes up to the manager and starts to explain how our experience was going at their establishment and the guy tells him "Don't worry about it, it's free today" My husband replies Nothing is free all your food is still sitting on the table.
