Subway — Restaurant in Independence

Everything was amazing The lady that waited on us was polite informative and kind very witty and funny like no other unfortunately she was left alone on shift her help didn't show up but that didn't stop her She did an amazing job of waiting on all of her customers and making him feel like they were the center of attention as she went kudos to her unfortunately I didn't catch your name she's a very smart young lady so I'm pretty sure she'll figure out who it is but we're discussing Also my only problem was the fact that I tried to call back because I wanted a fountain drink so bad and I finally got it I really wanted to mountain dew but I went ahead and I took a sprite but it was only carbonated water It was out of syrup I tried to call back to inform them that they're bag in a box was out And to ask them if I could come in and get another drink I tried multiple times calling to no avail I even tried later on in the evening once I thought that her shift was over and thought maybe I could get another person being that hopefully somebody reprieved her to no avail once again and next time I go in I'll have a holler at him about the large drink and see what they got to say about it But other than that my sandwich was great My friend's sandwich was great even had excellent information given to us and choices on how we could spice up our sandwiches or make them even better and we allowed it to happen and they were amazing so kudos good employee place was clean parking lot looked great everything was great except for the soda pop lol But we'll work on that next time All right everybody I'll be back so look for me at Subway I'll be keeping it fresh and try to get another soap pop lol Have a good day...

I came in on May 15th 2022 at around 4PM to order 2 foot-long cold cut sandwiches. There was ONE employee working on a sandwich for a woman ahead of me in the line. A guy came in after I did to pick up his online order. I observed the employee trying to get our sandwiches done quickly. He seemed nervous. When he started on my order, I asked him where the onsite manager is. He told me he was by himself. THIS is a MINOR working ALONE in the restaurant! The kid doesn't look older than 15 or 16! Health department and city codes require a manager to be on site at all times. Some woman wearing a Subway t-shirt came into the store, walking to the soda dispenser to get herself a drink. But she left the store and got into her car. Where did she come from? She wasn't there when I pulled into the parking lot at this location. I thought she was the manager coming back from her break?? Nope. The minor was left alone to work inside a restaurant with 3 or 4 customers waiting on him to finish their sandwich orders. This is definitely a safety issue because if he gets hurt on the job and no manager is there, the restaurant and its management would be in serious trouble not only with the city but also the county (health codes), state (labor laws) and federal (child labor laws) departments. He also needs to be re-trained to observe health code requirements to wash his hands when he changes his gloves or when he finishes interacting with the customers at the register. God forbid the restaurant management allow minors to work alone in the restaurant at...

I just went to this Subway at approximately 7pm, when I was pulling into the parking lot I seen a person walking away from the store, we heard someone scream something in our direction, but proceeded into the store, as we entered it was clear that there was nobody inside, then a Subway employee walked in saying " I ain't Never gonna be able to go get my food"?? I asked where are you getting your food, but the employee didn't respond, the employee was Angry that we were interrupting their plan to go pick food up somewhere ( guess we were an inconvenience to them)??? The employee went into the room behind the sub station for an extended period of time and we already felt uncomfortable and didn't trust them making our food, so we took our business elsewhere. What is going on with customer service these days? Who leaves a store unattended? Who gets mad at customers that choose to come spend $40-$50 on sandwiches that supports those very employees? I know things get overwhelming at work, but this is crazy.... I will never do business with this location again. It might be a good idea for a supervisor, a manager or even the franchisees to inform this employee that their actions are unacceptable and put the store and customers...
