Sweet P's Cafe & Bakery — Restaurant in Independence

Was randomly in the area and wanted to find a local coffee shop to get a couple of hours of work done. Let me tell you, this place is the perfect spot! Grabbed a donut and a cappuccino which were both great. Kind workers, very clean place and a great atmosphere to get some work done or have some coffee talk with a friend.

This is one of those places where you can tell who the regulars are because they are chatting and laughing with the employee's during their coffee talk.

First visit and there will be many more! My girlfriend suggested we try it. Food, Service, and Atmosphere were all excellent. I was most impressed by the portion sizes! Usually when I get a bagel, I get a tiny cup of cream cheese and need 1 more which is billed. They use containers big enough to hold enough cream cheese for a whole bagel. I also had a 1/2 salad 1/2 sandwich and the salad and sandwich were great portions...

Sweet P's is such a cute little place and such a nice atmosphere. When you first walk in the bakery scents are so inviting . The owners are both so friendly . The Gigi breakfast pie is so good I recommend it to anyone , owner suggested putting a bit hot sauce on it .... Was outstanding with or without it .
