Update 4/26/25 ordered take out discovered they NOW CHARGE $1 extra for take out! They don't bother mentioning this you have to look at the receipt. As for the receipt, if you pay in cash, they don't give e you back receipt, so you have to check receipt BEFORE you pay. Also, this time, as well as the last 2 times that I have been there, the meat was TERRIBLE! NOW MOSTLY FAT. 1st time we were here, mashed potatoes were cold. However, they were replaced when it was mentioned. were so hot and delicious. The dark-haired stocky waitress was unfriendly and downright rude. When asked about take out menus. Thank goodness she was not our waitress. The 2nd time we went, we got take out. Asked for no pickles as we were allergic and received pickles buried in food. Ask for sauce on the side, and it was only put on food. Which made it soggy with the sauce and pickles by the time we got home. Ask for and paid for extra gravey last time and failed to get it! Another time asked for mashed potatoes to go did not get them. Called they said to come in and they would replace. So went in later that week and also ordered another meal. I told them about the missing mashed potatoes the last time and that they were free. Some ended up paying again! I am starting to believe they are ripping you off on purpose to save money. They will not sub anything that comes with the meal. You can ask for them not to include what you don't want, but they will not give you a replacement. Most meals are between $14 & $15 per person w/o tax. With tax around $18-$20 person. You do get a decent amount of food for your money. They have a glass rolling garage door that rolls up to the patio area. In cooler weather, it can get chilly as it lets in a lot of air. They have a few tables with regular chairs, howeverer most are high tables with tall bar stool type chairs. It's not great for anyone with mobility issues. Pregnant bar tender is to busy flirting with people ordering alcohol that she does not notice when food is up and you are waiting for it. Then, when she does notice, she can't remember who it goes to , so she sits it in front of several people (which is not sanitary) until they tell her it's not theirs! Will NOT be recommending or going back anytime in the near future. Service from dark haired short heavy girl unless your a regular is basically...
Read moreTavern 24 is such a great opportunity to establish a new restaurant in the area and earn a ton of profit. Unfortunately, the mismanaged operations are driving people away. They ran out of food during their grand opening on March 20th. However, theyâve been receiving positive reviews three weeks prior to their opening date. Please keep in mind these skew the restaurants overall rating and misleads customers to expecting a positive experience. Prices arenât listed on the website; Iâve provided photos of the menu. Walking in, thereâs no clear direction on where to go or what to do. We simply found an open table and waited. The waitress was initially quite friendly and talkative, we ordered an appetizer that took an hour to receive. As a recently opened restaurant longer wait times are anticipated, but should still be acknowledged. It would've been nice to know they ran out of food, instead of discovering it on our own. Build those customer relationships now to have repeat customers. The waitress never came back to offer a drink refill or take our meal order. Thereâs no table system linked with the POS, the food runner (not waitress) simply walked around asking âDid you order this?â. After the hour wait on receiving the appetizer, two other plates of what we ordered came out. Again, the food runner walked around asking the surrounding tables if they ordered it. None of which ordered that appetizer, just us. An hour wait- for triple the work? Tavern 24 has vast profit potential once operations are streamlined and properly functioning. During our one in a half hours at Tavern 24, we saw five employees in total for around seventy patrons. Hopefully management can forecast properly moving forward to avoid the staffing and food shortages theyâve been experiencing. Lastly the outdoor patio is smoking friendly. As a nonsmoker it is off putting for me, but if youâre a smoker be sure to give it a try. There are multiple food options and plenty to do like pool, darts, a music juke box, and televisions. Be sure to give them an opportunity if youâve got a few...
Read moreMy son took myself and older daughter here for Mother's Day. We was immediately seated and a waitress said someone would be right with us. Abt 7 min later the bartender came to assist us and took our drink order. When she brought the drinks to the table she sat them on the table to my left and i had to give everyone their drinks. She gave us a few min for to decide what we wanted. We ordered our food and waited, and waited, and waited. An hour later our food still had not arrived. The bartender/waitress came by and we asked about our food. She said they was down 2 cooks. Finally 10 min later mine and another of our party got our food. I had the Q24, was good but, bet it would have been better if hot and the bread wasn't soggy. Burnt in had a good flavor. Finally my son and his girlfriend got part if their food. But, my daughter was still waiting. 7-10 min later she got hers. But my son was still waiting on his wings. Finally after 1 1/2 we all had our food. All in All we spent over 2 hours at this restaurant when it was just to have lunch. On a good note i love the inside (Should change pool playing age to at least 18 so when you have a long wait for your food you can entertain yourself. I do believe this place could be a 5 star place IF they gave the cooks and 1 of the wait staff ALOT...
